Primal Groudon vs. Primal Kyogre

Primal Groudon for sure. His ability gives him the upperhand against primal kyogre which will tip the battle in his favor.

 

Even though I have AlphaSapphire, I'm on Groudon's side too. He just seems like such an infernally awesome beast in his new mode.

On this topic, there is one thing I really like about them both: they each incorporate their newly assigned Greek letter into their Primal designs (Groudon's elbows and knees, Kyogre's flippers and forehad). And they fit quite well, actually. It doesn't look like they were forced to have an extra graphic stuck on them against their natural shape. Kudos to the design team for making that work so nicely.

 

I've always liked standard Kyogre better, but as far as Primes go, Groudon takes the cake. Not to mention, he kicks much more rear end in the metagame.

 

Gotta say, I like Primal Kyogre. His design's pretty awesome, plus I like water n' stuff too haha.

 

I'm going to go with Primal Kyogre. That thing looks sick.

 

Definitely going with Primal Groudon. I always preferred Groudon to begin with, but with his amazing new Primal he can actually get the upper hand on Kyogre. Plus it looks so menacing.

 

it actually depends on a one on one, their abilities will counteract each other making kyogre have the advantage...

 

I'm going with Primal Kyogre! I love Kyogre and it changes nothing with their Primal reversion formes! Team Kyogre!

 

That's a tough one. In battle, it ultimately goes to whoever has their Ability out. If Primal Groudon has his ability out, then he toasts Kyogre. If Kyogre has the ability out, then Groudon is drowning. Design wise, both are really good and I like them both. However, I'm going to have to vote for Groudon based on the basis that I have a bigger history with Groudon. Ruby was my version when I first got the 3rd Gen game.

 

Oh man I'm all for Primal Groudon. Lava makes everything look 10x more cool.

 

I only have Omega Ruby so I can't really say anything about Kyogre...

Primal Groudon is my favorite because he is not as easy to knock out. His ability and typing really give him the upper hand.

I do like Primal Kyogre's design though.

 

Primal Kyogre for me, because I'm digging its design, which is far more sparkly than Kyogre's usual form. Besides, it has my favorite color (which is blue).

 

I prefer P-Kyogre over P-Groudon, and I hate that people say Groudon's Desolate Land beats Kyogre.
Sure Kyogre can't use Water-type attacks, but the only thing Groudon can do against Kyogre is SolarBeam, and I don't see many Groudon who run SolarBeam. Plus, Kyogre's bulky enough to withstand at least one of Groudon's SolarBeams.
Plus, P-Kyogre just looks really cool, and you can ride him in ORAS
I don't see people climbing on Groudons and running in sand, because it ain't happening ever.
Kyogre is just the greatest

 

I voted P-Kyogre but its really hard for me to choose because since I never had normal Sapphire I never had any Kyogre before and this one is mad rad. Also I love water types. I haven't started in OR yet though but I was alway kinda meh about Groudon. I mean I liked it in ruby and it always stayed on my team once I caught it, but at that point its less about me liking Groudon as a Pokémon and more about me liking Groudon as MY Pokémon.

 

For me, it's definitely Primal Groudon. I think it's design is far better, and it has a lot more of a punch to pack than Primal Kyogre on all fronts. It's absolutely fantastic in my opinion.

I pick Kyogre because it looks prettier, really that's it, to me it just looks nice and I love origin pulse!
