Yup! I'm a big fan of the puzzle-adventure genre of games. If a game is just puzzles, I get bored easily, so the mix of adventure, story, and puzzles found in Professor Layton is a nice, even mix that keeps me coming back for more!
Cool! I've always been a fan of those games too! Do you have a personal favorite game from the series? Any favorite puzzles?
I don't think I have a personal favourite because they're all meshed together as "good", but my first was Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box/Pandora's Box, and I think that's my favourite because I enjoyed the story a lot. As for a favourite puzzle, there's just too many to choose from!
I'll always have my phone, a charging cable, my wallet, some money (unless I'm broke ÓwÒ) and my 3DS. On my phone I play Pokémon GO, Magikarp Jump, Fire Emblem Heroes, Mystic Messenger, Layton Brothers' Mystery Room, and Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaire's Conspiracy.
My vision is perfect, I don't ever need glasses and once did that thing where you catch the fly in the chopsticks like a boss (it flew out, but it was there for a good 3 seconds). However, this is dumb because I really want glasses. I think glasses are so cool, and all the other men in my family have them, so I'm not sure why I don't need them, especially since I'm the one who's in-front of a screen all the time.
I think it would be nice if Diamond Storm was changed to a physical Fairy-type attack, and if Diancie was given access to Earthquake. That way, you could have a moveset with Fairy-Diamond Storm, Stone Edge, qmd Earthquake, which would make good use of one stat, unlike Diancie's current mixed sets.
:: Do you consider yourself risky, cautious, or somewhere in the 'happy medium'? :: Do you have a favourite gemstone (or if not, then perhaps a colour)? :: Why are Layton games inexplicably expensive?
Definitely cautious, I don't do anything without considering the consequences first. Unless it's buying Pokémon merch without the parental unit's permission, because a guy'a gotta have his fandom. My favourite gemstone is Peridot! It is my favourite colour, shares a name with my favourite character from a show where most of the characters are based on gemstones, and is my month's birthstone. Because they are inexplicably good. You gotta be the best of the best to get a partnership game with our boy Phoenix.
When I hatched an almost-perfect IV shiny Litten today in Pokémon Sun, I was ecstatic! I really want to play through the Alola region's new story with all 3 starters shiny, and I already had Rowlet, so I now I'm going strong at 2/3!
I'd really love to visit Japan sometime in the future. I've been studying Japanese for almost 5 years, so it'd be nice to get an authentic experience along with what I already know. Plus, is the home of Pokémon! Gotta get all that sweet merch~ My favourite colour is green! I'm not sure what it is about green that I like more than the other colours, but it's... something. I also really like red, orange, and blue.
:: Do you have a favourite gemstone or precious stone? ...also, has someone asked that question before? because it sounds familiar. :: Have you ever tried sherbet? If so, what did you think of it? If not, would you want to? :: What strange monsters lurk deep within the confines of this thread?
It's Peridot, and the reason the question sounds familiar is because you yourself already asked it. I think I may have, but when I was very young, so I'm going to say "no", even though the answer is technically "yes". At the moment, there aren't any monsters here. This thread isn't deep enough for things to lurk in it. Yet.
