Professor Sycamore vs Lysandre

Although I really like both, I have to go with Sycamore if I have to choose between the two. Lysandre is a really cool guy, with his extreme ideals and all, but still... He doesn't have the intelligence to actually realize his plans, which is the problem with most (not all) of the villainous teams. Sycamore on the other hand is really cool Pokémon professor, and the only one to actually battle you in the game! He generally seems to be a cool guy, both in the games and in the anime

 

Sycamore is eh... French xD He really represents the region well, but I have to go with Lysandre. Although his methods are extreme, he does have a point. He is also what you would expect a leader of evil team to be, he doesn't care anybody (except his Pokémon).

 

Sycamore, beside being a fan girl and all his good character, he gives you a gen 1 starter. he looks out for you and he even has a friendly battle with you. what is there not to love?
Lysander ain't bad but he seem awful nice for a character that have given up on the world and is about to blow it up. well it was his kindness that lead him to this extreme but still. Also Lysander, what did you make your poor admins wear? I thought you were a fashion team or the sort and then they wear such terrible cloth

 

I like Sycamore better .3.

Sycamore is who I'm voting for. He's so suave and friendly, giving you a 1st gen starter and just being a cool guy. He's pretty good looking too. He's just so beautiful. I mean look at his hair.

 

Sycamore really *cough*because he is handsome *cough* he's pretty much the first professor to be in 3d in the 3ds. and he gives you the 1st starter Pokémon not like other professors and pretty much *cough* the first professor who is male to look hot *cough* I seem to have a cold. ​

 

Lysandre. His plan is actually the only evil team's plan born out of compassion, and I love how extreme he gets for such a good cause. He's a crazy extremist, but a crazy extremist with good intentions.

I do wish my hair was as dazzling as Sycamore's though.

 

Sycamore, because he essentially gives you your starter Pokémon, and awards you the medal for I dunno, saving Kalos.

 

Sycamore as well. ​Sis you're embarrassing yourself Sycamore even battles you. Plusing he has a 3ds sprite when you battle him

 

Lysandre. Sycamore was nice enough, I suppose. But Lysandre just interested me more as a character. He began with noble goals, tried to make the world a better place, and became bitter when he failed. Eventually, he hatched his last plan in a desperate bid to save humanity, knowing full well the terrible price of his actions (need I remind you that he was shown weeping over what he'd plan to do?).

He was also stark raving mad, but in a very interesting and subtle way. Sycamore was just bland by comparison.

 

But i pretty much mean the first professor to have a 3d avatar in the 3ds system

 

Professor Sycamore. Dude, he's the hottest male professor. He gives you a second starter. And he throws you a parade for becoming champion.

What more do you want!?!

I still ship Lysandre x Sycamore. Like I said before, I have no regrets.

But yes I love Sycamore a whole ton. He's quite handsome and is actually somewhat prominent throughout the game, unlike past professors who hardly do much of anything outside giving you your starter. Lysandre neve really caught my eye as I found his ambitions difficult to understand. He went down in the final battle before I even managed to learn enough about him and his aim.

 

Lysandre is just a typical misanthrope stereotype. Jeeze, misanthropy isn't always about wanting to wipe out the human race. So yeah, Sycamore.

 

In thinking about it, I have to say Lysandre. While Sycamore was cool and all, I didn't find him to have the brightest head. Lysandre I felt like his character was played up a lot in the story and even though it was rather obvious that he was the villain, I just found his nature to be more interesting. He even tries to get the Champion to work alongside him.

Sycamore, however, I do like his theme, but his character I felt lacked something. Maybe it's the fact that he says he's not that tough before you battle him first time? Or that he found himself to be responsible for Lysandre's doings? Why did (so many people on) Marriland want him to be the Champion again?

 

I really hated Lysandre's plot to destroy/purify the world and make it beautiful. I like Sycamore more, he played more of a role in the game imo, with giving you a second starter, to battling you later in the game, and throwing you a parade
