Oh look, you found the sign-ups page! Excellent work, future Hunter/Huntress! This is the sign-ups page for Beacon Academy, Year of Valor, the site's newest RWBY open roleplay! Character creation is something some people find easy, and some people have trouble with. But, since this is a roleplay based on a specific show, so there are a few requirements you need, regardless of your skill of character creation. Spoiler: The Guidelines Name - Most characters have a first name and a last name, and most student's names are based off a colour. Age - Everyone will be 17, because they're all first years. There's no arguing this, just do it. Colour - The colour your character is affiliated to. This is evident in their name and appearance, so choose wisely. Race - There are two races; Humans and Faunis. Faunis are basically half-humans half-animals. All Faunis shown in the show so far are humans with distinctive animal body parts, such as a tail or ears. You can also include their home location or location of residence before moving into Beacon. Gender - Pretty self-explanatory. You can elaborate a bit here by specifying if they prefer to be called by a gender they're not and, if you think necessary, their sexual preference. This is a topic that will be taken lightly within the RP, with two characters being able to fall in love only if both parties agree to do so. Remember, keep it appropriate! You can, uh, hold hands, I guess... Appearance - Also self-explanatory. Height, body figure, hair colour, hair style, eye colour, skin tone, etc. Personality - What is your character like? Are they friendly, or a really quiet person? This is the place to write it! And don't be shy on the details! (Just remember to keep it appropriate) Skills and Abilities - These usually relate to things outside of battle, such as cooking, or being a great planner, or excellent on surviving in the wild. You can also discuss their weaknesses, but leave the in-battle stuff for the next section. Weapon(s) and Fighting Style - Every character has a weapon, and sometimes these weapons can take on more than one form. Also include a description of your fighting style; does your character move swiftly and deal light damage, or are they a heavy slugger, or do they block attacks and fight back when there's an opening? Semblance - Every character has one of these too. It's just an ability that there born with, usually not too over-powered. For example, using Team RWBY, Ruby has her increased speed and agility, Weiss can use magical glyphs, Blake can create copies of herself as decoys, and Yang has increased strength when she's angry. Backstory/History -This isn't really needed in here, because it's bound to come up in the roleplay very early on, but I left it there just in-case anyone wanted to write up a little something. Team - This, of course, can be added later. Include your partner and the other pair of your team, and your team name. Some scenarios may involve only two-person team exercises. Themes - Just a little fun thing, but if you've got a song in mind for your character, you can add that here too. Of course, my own character will be added below, and you can always include pictures if you have trouble with the wording of their description. Spoiler: My Character (Also, the example) Spoiler: Designs Name - Shiro Hidashi Age - 17 Colour - White Race - Human. Born outside of Atlas, currently resides in Atlas. Gender - Male; Straight but open to trying new things Appearance - 185cm tall. Slim but toned figure. Long white hair that's tied into a high ponytail (yes, like Weiss's) which is often concealed under a red beanie. Piercing red eyes. Tends to wear casual clothing (t-shirts, hoodies, jeans), but has silver-plated armour hidden underneath during missions. Pajama outfit tends to consist of nothing but red boxers or the clothes worn during the day, without armour underneath, if he's too tired to change. Has a tube of light-blue dust hanging on a chain on his neck. Personality - Generally a friendly, positive guy, but gets introverted, defensive and bitter when he feels he's getting picked on. Likes to be around people he considers friends and chilling out, dislikes it when people call him a "Schnee" because he's got white hair and just so happens to be from Atlas. Being called a "Schnee" will often cause him to get very violent and involves the use of his semblance. Skills and Abilities - Expert video-game player and enjoys reading, so is a bit of a nerd. Can sew his own clothes, and is also excellent at lip-reading. Weapon(s) and Fighting Style - Granwyrm, weapon is a book filled with ancient spells. Allows Shiro to cast ice-based glyphs, in accordance to his ice-based semblance. Before the reveal of Granwyrm, he carried around a plain, steel sword, claiming that it was his weapon, since Shiro was concerned of what others would think of his real weapon. Semblance - Has to ability to create ice out of nothing, but it only works when Shiro's clothes are damaged and he goes under great stress, similar to how Yang goes into her "Super Saiyan Mode" when her hair is damaged. He can also use his semblance to make snow-golems of any size or shape out of battle, but these are all controlled by Shiro's mind and have no combat skills, and are usually just for show. Backstory - (Written in Shiro's POV) Hi, my name is Shiro Hidashi. If you're listening to this, it's probably because we're friends and we're having a back-story sharing session or something. Now, I'm generally a happy guy, right? Well, I wasn't always like this. It was a few years ago, twelve to be exact. I was living with my family in a small village outside of Atlas, about three day's trek by foot. There weren't many people there, but we were all really close, like a big family. In my direct family there was me, my father, my mother, my older brother and my two younger sisters, twins. We weren't as advanced as the rest of the world, but we made do with what we had, and we were all pretty happy. Then one day, that all changed. A group of Grimm raided our village. It wasn't a big group, maybe 3 or 4, but we had no way of protecting ourselves. Nobody in our village was a Hunter or Huntress, and although Atlas's army usually kept us from harm, I could tell these particular Grimm had been in conflict with them already, and it seemed they had somehow slipped from the fray. They destroyed everything. All the houses, all the people. I watched my father and brother, and all the other men of the village try to fend of the Grimm with torches, and I watch in terror as they were ripped to shreds before my eyes. All the women and children, including me, had gathered in the town hall, and once it was ransacked we split. I don't remember seeing anyone else successfully fleeing, but I do remember running, running for what seemed like forever, cutting my arms and legs on anything that brushed up against them, and tripping. After that, everything goes blank. I wake up, who knows how many days later, to find myself warm and cozy in my bed, with my father looking down on me. Except it's not my bed, I'm not in my house, and that person is not my father. He offered me something to drink, but I attacked him out of rage and confusion, not knowing where I was anymore. I stayed with that man for a long time. He took me in and raised me like his own, then, after I started showing interest in swordplay, he decided to train me. He used to be a Hunter, but he was forced to resign after receiving a bad injury, but he still had enough skill to teach me basic swordplay, as well as how to use dust, aura and my semblance. He even went out and nought me a sword of my own no the anniversary of our meeting, which I now consider my birthday. I named it "Granwyrm" after the man, who's family name was Granwyrm. Eventually I was old enough to attend a low-year academy for Hunters and Huntresses in training, but the man didn't have much money, so I went to a really cheap, easy to get into school. But it was a school none-the-less, and I was constantly praised for my expertise in and out of battle. I was accelerated a few times and was always the top of my class, where I graduated and received the scholarship to attend Beacon. But throughout my time at this school, I was constantly picked on. Everyone kept calling me a "disposed Schnee", and after a while I started to get depressed and become an introvert, even to the man who raised me. Don't get me wrong, the Schnee family is great, and I purchase my battle dust from their stores, but it wasn't nice being mistaken for one of them constantly, and being put down because of it. But the man helped me through my struggles, and used most of his money to allow me to attend Beacon. So, now I'm here, and I'm going to train and study hard to impress my family looking down on me, and the main who raised me. Team - Unknown as of yet. Name: Azul Shijo Age: 17 Colour: Blue Race: Human - birthplace was Vacuo Gender: Male Appearance: Will be elaborated more later, but for now placeholder avatar: Spoiler Personality: He gets worried about things extremely quickly, constantly seeking to stop any problem before it starts. He has an aversion to fighting, taking more of a support role in battle, and quickly tending to any ailments his allies attain. He wants to please everyone, even the people who are mean to him, begrudgingly helping despite his best intentions. Skills and abilities: He has a high level of proficiency in support runes. He also has some level of acrobatic skill. However, his level of proficiency with a weapon is extremely low. Weapons and fighting style: He has a staff called Shennong, a long, blue metal staff with an long metal ring on either side of it. Rather than directly attacking his foes, he instead buffs his allies' fighting strength, speed and defenses. He generally tries to either stay hidden or in an area where he is least likely to get targeted, due to his lack of fighting abilities. Semblance: He has a control over temperature. He can increase or decrease the temperature in a specific area, as well as the temperature of creatures. He is unwilling to use it on his enemies anywhere past the stage of uncomfortability, but some people have theorised he can cause temperature to almost reach Absolute Zero. Backstory: (I guess let's write in PoV 4 the lolz) So, you've already met the hikiikomori of the group, let's meet the wimpy pushover. And before you ask, Jaune is NOT my role model... Anyway, let's see... So, I grew up in Vacuo. Unlike the other guy (who I promise I won't call a Schnee), I don't have any huge tragedy... At least to my town. My personal life was another matter. I guess, my semblance was discovered at such a young age, and in a desert country like Vacuo, a semblance revolving around temperature was a godsend to my little village. We didn't really have that air conditioning you have over here in anywhere that you'll find on a map, we were a small little community. Well... if you call about 400 people small, then small. Anyway, I always found joy in helping people. I had no problems being called the "Human Air Conditioner", it pleased me to help them. However, this kind of led to me being the butt of a lot of jokes when I came to studying to be a hunter. I decided to study runes... they're basically like less powerful versions of the Schnee family's glyph semblance (Shiro, I SWEAR that wasn't directed at you). However, I never studied them in an offensive way, or to use them in combination with Dust, and not to increase my skills. I studied them to help others, increase their skills, help them in battle. Not many people appreciated this. People often look down on the support characters (ask Shiro, I'm sure he plays MMOs). I was teased so often in my classes to be a Hunter. My problem? I couldn't bring myself to retaliate, to ignore them, to tell them to stop. I HAD to help them, be it menial jobs or whatever, it's like my brain was hard wired to do it... Then... Well... Things got bad... One of those guys... Well, he wasn't the greatest guy around. No Roman Torchwick mind you, but still, he wanted to steal some stuff... And obviously, who did he ask to help him? The guy who can't refuse. Listen, I'm sure you can guess what happened from there, but you actually can't. We got away perfectly clean, it's a small town, and honestly, he was just stealing food from a little shop (which in such a small town is still pretty bad). But just the small severity of the crime drove me to so much guilt. I couldn't bare to be around the people I lived with for so long (yes, I'm weird, I helped a guy steal bread and now I feel like I just cut off someone's arm or something... OH CRAP I'M SO SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THA---). So I moved. It happened so late into my Hunter studies I transferred to Beacon Academy no problem. And now I'm here, and I don't have to worry that awkward feeling that I've stolen from my friends. Also, I'm still a huge pushover, so I'm sure it'll happen again. Team: JASP
Name: John Green Age: 17 Color: Green Race: Faunis- Boa Constrictor Gender: male Appearance: Snake eyes, forked tongue, medium frame, and muscular. (Couldn't adjust his height and frame in the thing, so just picture it. Also apparently the link didn't work, so just look at the attached file please) Personality: He is viewed as being very dry. Not exactly social, but he'll talk about most things with you if you talk to him. Often seen as calculating and a tad bit cold. I'll probably slowly adjust how he is until I can find something that clicks Skills: Proficient in survival skills and gathering information. While he can cook, it's really nothing special. It's how a survivalist would cook. Not too popular either Weapons/Style: His weapon of choice is "Faust", a pair of exploding gauntlets that change into a pair of Tiger Claws. Good reaction time, and is able to switch between offensive and defense. Has a bit of problem with tunnel vision, so his weakness is an attack that isn't the one he's focused on. Best when fighting one person only. Semblance: Density shifting. He can change how dense the atoms are in his body Backstory: John Green was born to two faunus parents in the Kingdom of Vale. His family has owned a few weapons shops for a few generations now. There is one located in Vale, one in Mistral, and another in Vacuo. They're not large famous shops, but they have a pretty decent selection. As a result John is fairly knowledgeable and interested in many weapon types, and fairly well adapt with quite a few. Name - Paluna Santari Age - 17 Colour - purple Race - Human- born in Atlas Gender - Female;asexual Appearance - A skinnier girl around 5 and a half feet tall. Has purple hair and a birthmark across her right shoulder. Very pale and never cuts her hair. Spoiler Personality - Really shy at first, but once she knows you she's really energetic and like to make jokes. She can randomly get mad if something doesn't go her way, but usually is ok with whatever happens. If she thinks you're inferior to her she will try to prove that you are. Weather it be in a battle of the brains, or an actual fight. She doesn't really want to be the best, but thinks that some people are just inferior. She also really cares about people. If someone is being hurt, she wants to help however she can. She'll even settle her rivalries with people if she can tell they're genuinely hurt. Skills and Abilities - An amazing cook that just took up drawing and draws occasionally in her free time. Also really good at swimming. Loves anime and can tell you basically anything about any anime ever. Plays some video games, but usually says her hands hurt if someone asks her to play. Weapon(s) and Fighting Style - Long range bow named Aranglot. It shoots a variety of arrows. Usually normal arrows, but can be poisonous, fire(really circumstantial. Usually only if fire/lava is around or given enough time to prepare a fire), or invisible arrows. Its about 30' in height and weighs about 8 pounds. Semblance - Can be invisible for up to a minute and 30 seconds and a cooldown of 4 minutes. If someone touches her while she is invisible everyone can see her. Backstory/History - Born in atlas, her parents were both hunters/huntresses, but not very well known. Was never really that popular as a kid and was usually bullied for being so shy. She has a big brother that would sometimes protect her, but around the time she was 9, unexpectedly left, never to return. Name - Rose Pikamina Age - 17 Colour - pink Race - Cat Faunus Gender - Female Appearance - Rose has long black hair that is usually kept loose, pale skin that cannot tan and piercing blue eyes. She also has black cat ears and a tail, with a pink ribbon tied on it. She is petite, reaching only 5'. She normally wears a light pink dress with black capris underneath and simple sneakers, her sleep clothes is just a eyewatering neon pink nightgown that is a few sizes too big. Personality - Due to her sheltered upbringing, Rose is innocent. She is an avid dreamer, believes firmly that there is goodness in everything and is unafraid to make friends with every breathing creature. Though she is easily distracted. She is nearly always laughing or smiling, reveling in being alive. She is oblivious to some degree and she can come off a dimwit. But she is loyal to her friends and more than willing to lend a helping hand. Skills and Abilities - Rose is an excellent hunter, tracker and cook. She is also a good listening and has a good heart. Though she has some troubles with the theory and bookwork for school, she excels in the practical side. Rose is a good climber, often enjoying heights. She also knows how to survive out in the wilderness. Because of her upbringing, as long as she doesn't exhaust herself, she is able to battle for long periods of time, going on defensive until she spots a weakness. Weapon(s) and Fighting Style - Rose is a distance fighter with her weapon of a bow, that is also a gun and a staff, if need be. She will usually snipe, perched atop a tree and tries her hardest to avoid directly fighting. Though, if she is forced to fight directly, she can usually improvise offensive but it is not effective, but have a better chance with defensive due to her semblance. Semblance - Foresight, she has the ability to predict where her enemy is and their immediate move, like gut feelings. Not always accurate though and she can often gets confused when she gets too many warnings. Backstory/History - Rose was raised by loving parents and three younger sisters in a mountain range just outside Vale. Though grimm attacks were much too common, Rose grew up innocent and carefree, unaware of the prejudice to Faunus. She applied to Beacon because she grew up on fairy tales and wanted to make the world a better place by becoming a Huntress. Across her top is a grey sash which she puts her weapons on. She also sports white socks and black Chinese flats. While her nightwear usually consists of a pair of grey knee length pants and a loose plain white T-shirt. Personality: Yun is often lost in touch with the world sometimes, always looking off into space, in a trance. Though sometimes in said trances, she's deep in thought. She's not one to approach people first and her skepticism in everything is very strong. Very respectful of her parents and elders, subservient, especially to the former. On the down side, she can be quite the miser and selfish, as she doesn't prefer to share things or spend too much money. Like her businessman of a father, she is very calculative in terms of handling terms and conditions, always aiming for anything else behind "What's in it for me?". As such, she doesn't take people's privacy too well, as people who hide secrets or seem shady give her reasons to be paranoid towards people and always making assumptions (in her head). She has a mindset that people are always judgmental, going to bring her down, or are after her, further impairing chances for her to make friends. Though this would hopefully improve over time. Yun easily succumbs to pressure when performing in front crowds, and is working hard to overcome it. She likes to sing/hum or dance by her lonesome, but would most likely stop if anyone caught her doing so. Skills and abilities: She's decent at hunting and tracking, but not so much for killing. Yun has a lot of knowledge in terms of book learning, but usually keeps said knowledge to herself, not willing to share. She also has some knowledge and skill of martial arts and dancing from her family's training. While she uses two fans, she can also handle fighting using only one. Weapons and abilities: She uses a pair of folding fans, called "Yuan Yang" (鸳鸯 a pair of mandarin ducks). The fan blades are made of rosewood carved in the shape of a mandarin duck's head at the end of each fan. The paper is lined with bits of wax to reduce breakage. The fans are small enough to wield and carry around, but large enough to cause damage via paper cuts. The fans are combined with the function of boomerangs, able to hit those within a 5m radius around her. Yun moves quickly, but cannot perform, or withstand strong powerful hits well. Semblance: She can levitate in the air at any height for a limited time. (between 30 seconds to 2 mins max) The energy to fly up to greater heights however takes a toll on her physical strength and aura. If she exceeds two minutes in the air, she will drop. The cooldown time takes around 2 minutes. Even though she's trying hard to increase the flying time limit. Backstory: Ning-Yun was from a family of martial artists living around Vale. She grew up learning fighting with a group of boys, as her father brought her to a martial arts instructor in hopes that she would hone these skills to protect herself. Unfortunately, this became a detriment to her self esteem. Despite that her father had willingly sent her to martial arts class, she was teased by all the boys because she was a girl. As such, she reverted back to learning fan dancing with her mother, never once exiting the house to even play with her fellow neighbours. Unbeknownst to her, she found a good way to incorporate both fighting and dancing into the same moves, not without help from her instructor of course. Her instructor Wen Jin gifted her the twin fans, naming them Yuan Yang, as they were both very different, but yet compatible to each other, like combining two oddly different practices into the same rhythm. She applied to Beacon under her parents' advice. Though her motive in Beacon was mainly to hopefully bring home some useful skills to make her parents proud. However, deep down, her parents only wanted her to get along with people better, and what better place for her to start by becoming a Huntress? Name - Luta Aliquam Age - 21 lel 17 Colour - Orange Race - Faunis (lion) Gender - Female Appearance - She has dark olive skin, hazel eyes, and very messy blonde hair cut just past her shoulders and dyed with haphazard streaks of bright orange. She is of average height (5'8") but is more muscular than average. She usually wears a neon orange tee shirt partially covered by armor on her right arm and across her chest, and dark jeans, along with ivory earpieces shaped like fangs. She has a lion's tail, and the tuft on its end is streaked with orange like her hair. Her pajamas are a white tank-top with a red speech bubble filled with yellow grawlix, and black pants with yellow and brown polka-dots. Personality - Abrasive, bold and overflowing with enthusiasm, Luta is very rarely quiet about anything. She voices her opinions openly and often without considering the opinions of others first, less out of malice and more out of just getting carried away. She respects strength above all, but she doesn't consider the weak below her and instead sees them as in need of strong companionship. She is fiercely loyal and will fight verbally or physically for her friends, those she respects, or sometimes just random people who she thinks need a bit of a hand (whether they actually do or not). She is exceptionally protective of other Faunus. She is frustratingly stubborn, often sticking to her guns even in the face of blatant evidence to the contrary. She takes this approach into battle as well, fighting tooth and nail to reach victory. Skills and Abilities - She is a truly awful cook, but she really tries her best. She has an excellent sense of smell and hearing, which she uses for such practical reasons as eavesdropping on everyone and sniffing out good restaurants. She is easily bored by non-combat studies, partially because she is terrible at studying and paying attention. She'll deny it up and down though, because she hates being bad at things. She is very athletic, taking pride in her skills by showing them off whenever she can. Weapon(s) and Fighting Style - Luta has a war-axe named Boomstick that can morph fully into a flamethrower or just expel spinning bursts of flame from the blade. She fights by getting in her opponent's faces and overpowering them with brute force or wailing on them until they give up. Though she is decently fast, she mostly relies on her brutal force to win instead of dodging or finesse. Semblance - Luta can temporarily increase her strength and remove her ability to feel pain, though it doesn't add any more protection from injury and she'll feel any injuries sustained after it wears off. Backstory/History - Her family are staunch supporters of Faunus rights, and most of her family who was alive at the time fought in the Faunus Rights Revolution. Many of her family members later joined the White Fang, but Luta disapproved of their later activities of terrorism and quit when she found out the truth about it. She is attending Beacon academy partially to attempt to prove to her family (and herself) that humans aren't their main enemies and can be reasoned with. Name — Ember Stein Age - 17 Colour — a blend of red and orange, primarily red with an orange secondary Race — Human — From the outskirts of Mistral Gender — Male Appearance — 6'1 with a muscled body (More upper body than lower due to reasons mentioned the Weapons and Fighting Styles section). He has red hair that hangs loosely around his head, the bangs stopping short of his eyebrows. Over his eyes he wears a pair of tinted glasses, hiding his orange eyes from view. He is also pretty pale, causing his eyes, when revealed, to stand out due to their colour. He wears what can be described as heavy armor, the chest plate being the colour red with an orange wolf head in the center. His lower body is covered in heavy and slightly jagged armor that, like the chest plate, is red with orange chains wrapped around the armor down to his ankles. His arms, ironically, are the least armored, only being wrapped in bandages with no armor whatsoever making this one of his weak spots. Overall he has the stereotypical brutish look to him with an unkempt appearance. Personality — Ember has, like his name suggests, a fiery personality. This means he is easy to rile up and causes him to lash out. To counter this though he has learned the art of meditation in order to calm himself, but this is all forgotten during battle where he is fueled by his emotions. Despite this though he is protective of those he considers a part of his 'pack' (More on this in the backstory), willing to strike down those who harm them. On the other hand he can seem uncaring to others problems, and would rather let them handle it themselves only stepping it when he feels it is needed. Furthermore he is quite the private individual, preferring to keep his past to himself, but is willing to tell those who he believes deserves to find out if it will help them. Skills and Abilities — Ember is good at hunting and surviving in the wild due to his upbringing. Also follows his instincts when dealing with unknowns, not always right. Due to this he can come off as distrusting and paranoid. Furthermore he is easily angered. Weapon(s) and Fighting Style — Ember's weapon is a great sword he calls 'SusiHammas' roughly translating into 'Wolf Tooth'. It is a 175cm in overall length, with the handle being long enough for both his hands to grip it. Above the handle, covering the bottom of the blade where it connects with the handle, is a wolf's head with open jaws. The entire great sword is silver, except for the wolf's head which is red with orange eyes. The sword can also turn into a shotgun by retracting the blade into the wolf's head and the blade becomes a barrel that hides within the jaws of the wolf. Ember's fighting style can be described as one used by a 'Juggernaut', he charges head first into battle using his semblence to give him speed and slow his targets. He also uses his semblence in tandem with his attacks by increasing the weight of his attacks at their peak to give extra impact. Semblance — Ember's semblence is partial control of gravity around him, he has not completely mastered this semblence, only able to effect himself and a couple of others in a 5 meter radius around him. He can also manipulate the weight of objects, but as of now this takes a bit more concentration. For example he can increase an opponent's weight while decreasing his own to make the opponent slower and him faster, meanwhile he can increase the weight of his weapon to make it hit harder or make his opponents weapon lighter to its impact won't be as much. (If you think this is OP let me know and I can change it) Backstory/History — Ember has a mixed heritage, his father being a wolf Faunus but on the other hand his mother being a human. When he was born he was declared human as there was not enough Faunus genes present to label him a Faunus, but as he grew older his eyes began to change into an orange colour and his pupil became slit. This was still not enough to be labelled a full Faunus, but it was proof he has Faunus heritage in him. During his first 10 years of life he was raised in a solitary environment, training to become a Huntsman and learning to live on the land, but not long after he turned 10 his parents were overwhelmed in a beowolf attack, leading to Ember to flee into the surrounding forests where he would not emerge from for another 5 years, when he would reemerge and travel to Mistral where he apply to Sanctum Academy and would later create his weapon and armor in memory of his parents. At age 17 he was accepted into Beacon Academy with plans to get through life while avenging his parents with each Grimm kill, still haunted by the memory of their deaths and what happened in the forest over the five years. Also I'm kind of disappointed with the personality I guess? Might rewrite it later, will get back to you on it if I do, but I wanted to get this form done and up as promised. Spoiler Name - Aria Greenwood Age - 17 Colour - Green Race - Human Gender - Female Appearance - Spoiler This is a picture drawn by a friend awhile ago for me, using it for this character to note. Spoiler Aria is about 5 ft. tall at best, and is light (around 90 lbs.). She has long black hair which she rarely ever cuts, and is unkempt from being hidden in her hood most of the time. She has cold icy blue eyes which can stare down someone easily, and a notable lack of any form of makeup. She has a small figure, as she usually doesn't eat much since she gets plenty of energy through small meals. For clothes, she wears green armor (similar to this) generally, with a pair of black leather boots to protect her feet. She also has iron pads on her shoulders to hold her hood down and protect her slightly. Her hood was custom made for her, and is wrapped on her head most of the time.It can be adjusted and hidden, but it is most likely to be pulled up when she is seen. Other than this, the other clothes she keeps on her are a pair of pajamas (green shirt and black sweat pants) and a green dress for any really fancy occasion. Personality - Ever since she was a child, Aria has taken on what you would call a "loner" personality. Secluding herself from others and being quiet, she is generally not a talker around those who she has not gotten close to yet. She's always one to keep to herself, and when she does open up, it's barely about much. Even with this though, she does have traits that any archer or hunter should have. She's always proud of what she does and wants to protect those, putting herself last when it comes to others she knows need help. Going by a standard warrior's code, she protects those weaker, stronger, or any of the sort. She is what people could call a perfect huntress in terms of values, but her personality tends to lock her away from others, leaving it difficult to prove to others what she can truly do without competition. Skills and Abilities - Natural Survivalist: Having lived in a forest most of her life and learning from her dad, Aria understands the ins and outs of surviving. She knows how to hunt down food, make a shelter, and many more things. Marksman: Aria is an amazing shot with a bow, having practiced since she was 6. Her aim is very good, and as long as she knows where a target is, there's a high chance she'll hit it. Weapon(s) and Fighting Style - Weapon: The Double-Barreled Bow This bow is a mix of deadly long range and close range. In its normal form, it is a standard steel bow along with a set of sharp metal arrows with a special magnet attached to them. This allows the bow to pull them back in so that Aria doesn't waste them all of the time for no reason. They are unbreakable, but can be blocked. When encountered in close combat, Aria can pull the bow apart into two double-barreled shotguns. They are generally always loaded right away with 4 bullets each, but Aria keeps a side pocket with more for combat. Although she definitely prefers staying long range and sniping people down with her bow, she will use her shotgun for defense to stop any foes that approach her. Semblance - Sonar Vision When she was naturally born blind, it was discovered right away that this wasn't a huge impairment. Similar to a bat, this allows Aria to tell what is around her and detect it, similarly to a bat. She can do this while she is moving or if she is able to imagine the area. She can also detect movement in a close proximity, however the farthest away she can is a mile, which is only if it would be something loud/huge. This allows her to function normally, and helps in combat since she can't be tripped up by illusions. However, if an enemy does not move or sticks to the air, this severely hurts Aria's ability to fight. Backstory/History - Aria was born in a forest to her parents who both had moved out of the city just a year before hand. She was blind upon birth, so although she never experienced sight, her semblance was able to help her through life. She trained with her father till she was 16, in which she then received her weapon that her father had made for her.
