I just wanted to try and create the perfect Gallade set for OU competitive play.
I know this isn't perfect, but I just wanted to see what you guys think so modifications can be made, and a great moveset can be created.

    Gallade
    EVs: 252 atk/100 hp/16 spd/136 sp.def
    Item: Leftovers

    Moveset:

    Bulk-up
    Drain punch
    Ice punch/stone edge
    Shadow Sneak

The awkward Ev spread actually helps Gallade to get the necessary Bulk ups to start sweeping. Drain punch is the STAB move to hit many targets while replenishing my health. Ice punch is for rowdy Celebis and the obvious Gliscor switch in ( I can't hurt him any other way.) while stone edge is for gyarados. Finally, Shadow Sneak is to pick off low defense ghosts like gengar and to get decent damage on latios.
So tell me what you think, and I'd appreciate the help in creating a better set.
    Thank You. :-)

I think you've done a good job on this moveset. I also like to spread my EVs around so that the Pokémon can get some even stats. The idea of using Bulk Up and rather than Swords Dance appeals to me in that it gives him more defence, and Drain Punch can replenish health lost while using it. On my SS Gallade I have Swords Dance and Brick Break (because Drain Punch is a lot less powerful in the 4th generation) for max attack.

In my opinion, I think you should choose Ice Punch over Stone Edge. It's more likely to hit and it has more coverage, and it can really hurt ground types like Sandslash that use Earthquake. Also, what is your opinion on the move Psycho Cut?

(P.S. If you want, I could make this on Pokegen and send it to you. Just visit my shop if you're interested)

Interesting set, and I appreciate people who have the mind to come up with a gallade moveset WITHOUT using smogon sets. :-)

Thanxs for the feedback, I didn't think someone would actually LIKE it. And yes, your right, I will use Ice punch instead(much better coverage like you said). About psycho cut, I didn't put it on the set because it doesn't have much use outside of destroying opposing fighting types and the tentacruel lead. I do love the move though, and if Pokémon could use 5 moves, that would be my first choice for gallade. Thanx

Was mine a smogon set? Cause I made this set just out of my mind.

No, I said it wasn't and that it was creative.

Ah mmk. Well the set, I came up with it on the fly. The item is a tough choice as I can use 3-4 different items for it, depending on your taste. Life Orb, Choice Scarf, Choice Band, or Expert Belt.

Life Orb could be a good replacement item for your Gallade, actually. Anything with a healing move can use a life orb to massive extent.

what i use on gallade is choice scarf just as a power house getting kills here and there

    Gallade - Choice Scarf 252 att/ 252 sp/ 4 spd
    Close Combat
    Psychocut
    Ice punch
    Knock off

it work pretty well if you dont have anything to stop it
