So it seems these ask people threads are all the rage on forums; is there that much about other people that you guys want to know? Is there that much that you're willing to tell?

So I'll start up my own, and who knows? Maybe I'll learn something about myself in the process!

Weavile and its pre-evolution I had no inclination towards until late into Soulsilver. I think it's the way they have feminine-looking eyelashes that got me interested in them. But mainly, it's the mystery that surrounded it when I started playing Soulsilver and discovered the 3rd and 4th generations.

You see, since playing Crystal, I had no idea that the two generations of Pokémon I happened to completely miss would actually be in the game. There was a lot for me to catch up on. I recall looking up which Pokémon got new evolutions, and I looked at Sneasel's page. To prevent spoiling anything, I tried not to look at the new evolution, but I caught a glimpse. Given that it was only a split second's look and Weavile had an odd pose in the HGSS sprite, what I saw wasn't like Weavile at all. It looked like a very exotic sort of creature with an array of bladed fans around its body, which is technically true, but the way I felt about what I saw really got me interested.

After catching a Sneasel (which I'd started to grow fond of) and evolving it, I was really surprised to see that Weavile looked very different, but I still liked it.

Another reason that I like Weaviles, and Sneasels, is that they respond to power training items well. I didn't really know that Weavile was supposed to have low special attack, so I gave her a power lens to improve that stat. Well, a few levels in, I was getting incredible numbers added to sp. attack every time she leveled up, one time getting a +9. I later trained another Sneasel to improve his defence, and he responded to the power item well, too.

You do realize there are four Weavile in each of your posts?

Yeah, the numbers steadily grew ever since I bought an avatar with the red Weavile. But I don't think I need any more; four is definitely enough. I might even overhaul the look with a different Pokémon at some point. Or maybe just a different coloured Weavile.

Who cooks most of the food you eat?
Bonus question, are there really that many spiders in Australia?

Usually my mum, since she usually cooks dinner, although my sister and I are learning to cook ourselves. Also, I guess you could say that the cooks in the cafe across the street from my college play a big part, too.

As for your second question, it depends on the season. Yes, you can often find a spider of some kind in areas near the bush (aka, my house), and the presence of webs gives them away. However during the summer (I think) the spiders are everywhere (again, near the bush). Little harmless ones make homes in the plants, and sometimes you get big versions of them that just melt your spines. For a few years in a row this giant, bulbous, harmless Golden Orb Weaver kept making her home just off my home's balcony, but then one year it wasn't there and hasn't appeared since.

Australia has loads of spiders, one of the most deadly being native specifically to my home city, the Sydney Funnel Web. They rarely bite (only two cases of bites in the last ten years, I believe) but instead of spinning normal webs, they line the inside of small holes in the ground of foliage with web and hide inside, making it incredibly hard to spot them.

Nothing too spectacular. College is the best thing that happened to me and I love going there, so I'm having fun.
