I think many atheists are sincere, but I've also seen much bashing of religion by some of them. And same goes with the religious people. It sickens me, really.

Why I chose Christianity over other religions is because partly I was grown up believing it, and although I have both explored athiesm and other religions, I feel personally they are not for me. It just seems illogical to me.

 

I suppose it is my upbringing, but I do not see the logic in other monotheistic religions. My my, you're making me think here! Usually, I like making stupid witty jokes, but this is turning into some sort of theological debate! Surprise!

 

Interesting thought, except that it is too late to help those in Hell, according to Christianity. So while we would probably want to help, we wouldn't be able to. Hell might not even be fire, but merely a separation from God. So maybe you're just left to do whatever you wish, only you can't die.

 

Yes, and no. Yes, because there is no way to save them. But there is also no excuse for them. They could have turned while living, but they have not. So we can only do so much.
