    Hey, I have a question, but don't kill me xD for the question if it is obvious or something xD
    During a battle, if for any reason your active Pokémon's ability has been changed by another one and you switch it for another Pokémon from (sorry, I'm not sure about if it is the correct preposition) your team...Do the old active Pokémon retrieve its real ability? Or it has the new one until the endo of the battle?
    I put it here because I don't know if that changes in different generations.

    No, once you switch out the ability will return to normal.

    Well this one is simple, if I read this right. But I think the example I can give of this is like a Confagrius with Mummy and a Dugtrio with Arena Trap. If Dugtrio hits with a physical move and the ability Mummy makes Arena Trap turn to Mummy. Confagrius can escape then, and if you switch out to a Politoed for instance, then the ability Dugtrio had to begin with goes back to it. So the old Pokémon recieves back it's original ability.
