Rage Quit Moments In Pokemon

Generally would involve landorus, a critical hit, and some string of flinches. And it would have to be singles. Singles is angering, doubles I will forfeit only if someone leads the smeargle mega kangaskhan, I would consider a forfeit at that point because of how annoying and angering it is. YOU CAN'T EVEN WIDE GUARD A DARK VOID YOU ARE JUST SLEEPING AND DEAD UNLESS YOU RUN YOUR OWN KANGASKHAN

 

I'm always a super-calm person, minus maybe a few minutes of rage sprinkled out over a year, and I have good reasons for those. That said, I've never had a frustrating battle get that deep into me. I've been stonewalled by defensives plus phasing and rocks/spikes, I've been constantly outsped in a battle, I've been reliably countered by perfect swap-outs on my opponent's end, but nothing has made me say "FORGET IT! I'm shutting off the DS or closing this Showdown tab! It just can't go on any longer!"

Showdown server likes to disconnect me spontaneously, and contrary to Charlie Sheen always winning, I'm just usually losing. Chances are a disconnect will happen during one of my losses, so I look like I ragequit, and my record probably thinks I do. Not that I put much self-worth in my scores, so whatever.

 

Everytime I see a stall team that simply I cannot counter or is too fucking annoying
Hell I can stand Lando-t, Greninga, Aegislash, Tundurus, critical hits, flinches, even getting swept by a Volcarona but if there's something that really rustle my jimmies is getting stalled fucking hate when people do that.

 

Oh god... You know what isn't nice? Someone who takes advantage of your Water Absorb ability to make a match go on forever. I was using a Vaporeon in UU on Showdown, and so instead of finishing me off when my last Poke was a Vaporeon, he would lower my health while I hit him with Scald, then Recover and hit me with a Water Pulse. Seriously, he thought he was being nice by "giving me a chance" but instead he was only fueling my rage. The only reason I didn't leave then and there was that I have a strong hatred toward people who quit matches, and I didn't wanna be a hypocrite.

 

Never done this in Pokémon. Well the only time I really raged quit was when I was on showdown and the people who were spectating was making fun of my team and was supporting the opponent. This was before the option to mute the opponents/spectators were added. I was so frustrated to see jerks like that.

Other than that I do have a couple of times were I got angered a little bit like Focus Blast Missing or Will o Wisp missing three times in a row but that's pretty much it.
I don't really rage much in Pokémon.

 

I barely go on online matches simply because I don't like it when people would win and laugh at my all legendary team. There's nothing wrong with that...

Anyway, I quit once online when my Focus Blast and Thunder moves kept missing and the person kept putting my Thundurus to sleep and confusing it. Ah, annoying times.

 

I've raged quit tons of times on showdown.
Well, that's because I was an idiot and played anything goes while testing out a team, but I managed to beat 6 Multype Arceus's on the streak, and almost made it on the ladder, so I guess it wasn't that bad in the end.

 

Just a couple days ago, I was on Battle Spot Singles, and my opponent led with a Walrein while I led with a Specs Raikou.

Then I missed Thunderbolt because he had Brightpowder, yet he hit a Fissure.

No problem. Ill just go to Lucario.

I missed Close Combat and he hit me with another Fiissure, bringing me down to my sash.

I missed ANOTHER Close Combat and I got hit by the THIRD FISSURE IN A ROW.

I was very upset at this point. I still had a Mega Sceptile left and used Energy Ball.

IT F'ING MISSED AND HE HIT ME WITH SHEER COLD.

I rage quited. No way was I gonna give him the satisfaction of saving a BV of him winning with such a brainless and luck-based tactic. Keep in mind that OHKO moves only have 30% Accuracy, and that Brightpowder only raises evasiveness by 10%.

 

That sounds like hacking, not luck. I have that happen way to much on Showdown, I fight people with impossible, bloated stats, people who use Pokémon that should not outspeed mine, but do anyway, even people who use a device to see what the opponent is going to do so they make the exact perfect moves every single time, like switching into a non ground type with a flyer/levitater when you've given them ABSOLUTELY NO REASON to believe you would use Earthquake.

 

So I bring my 3ds to work my pocket sometimes. Well I'm the kind of dumbass who didn't save like when IV breeding. Every new and then the game cartridge will eject in my pocket, and I lose everything. You can imagine how mad I can get at that

Hax s awful and can turn the game on its head. I know that as a Gen 1 OU player, this is very hypocritical (in Gen 1, its lucky if you don't get a crit) but it has made me quit sooo many games and made me go on tile that I cri everteim.
