Talk about rain. Because let's be honest: You didn't come to Lake Valor to hear about Pokémon. You didn't come to Lake Valor, a place named after Pokémon, to hear about Pokémon. You didn't come to Lake Valor, a place named after a place in the Pokémon world, which heavily focuses on Pokémon, to hear about Pokémon. No siree. You came to Lake Valor, this place entirely commited to Pokémon... So you could chat about the most off-topic thing in the world: Rain. Because some of us like rain. And I do. Also why do I make every sentence its own paragraph? Man, I am weird. See, I did it again! And no, this isn't a troll post.
Rain is nice when I just want to concentrate on drawing. It's actually quite soothing... except when it starts thundering; then I get paranoid and save my work immediately.
I love the rain. The cool air and the sound of the down poor. The stillness of all but the water. The light chatter of the water making contact with everything around it or the deep thudding of rain on a roof. The unbroken clouds that cast a light grey contrast to the entire world. It calms me to no end. Its so beautiful. I love all of it. I once stood out in a flash flood for 30 minutes because I love rain. Though I like watching it more than I do being in it.
I love the sound of rain, it's so calming. I especially like listening to a combination of rain and gentle music while drawing. Another benefit of rainy days is that they're much colder than sunny days. Storms are great too, lots of pretty lightning to look at!
Rain is something I long for right now. Haven't had any fall since February. On that note; I love it when it falls outside gently. Listen to some soothing music and I'm pretty much sold. On a day off, I like to read books under a blanket or go online and play games
The sound of rain on the roof is incredibly relaxing. I love to stand outside in the rain, provided I'm near my house and am not holding anything that would get damaged by the water.
I love a light drizzle when the temperature outside is not too hot or too cold. It sounds nice to hear against the window before I go to sleep too. Really dense rain that strings when it hits you or is freezing cold is cruel.... that or if it is super hot and humid outside and the rain is warm and feels sticky... yuck! Overall I give rain a 7.8/10
Rain is quite pleasant, just so long as it isn't heavy. Jason! Where I am, it tends to be pretty dry, and while it doesn't rain too often, it does so on a fairly regular basis, and is always a welcome blessing. Hills near my house will turn from a sandy brown to an emerald green, and it's definitely one of the more beautiful transformations I've seen. People don't always drive that well in the rain, though, but I always like rain for bringing the temperature down. It gets problematic when buckets of it pour down (and that has happened), but for the most part, I welcome rain whenever it occurs.
I'm fine with rain just so long as I don't have to walk three miles through pouring down rain. I do like to walk in the rain when it's really light, to the pint where its more of a mist than rain, but the rain over here is rarely that light. I kind of have to tolerate the rain here though. It rains so much that just going a week or two without it could almost be considered a drought.
Rain is okay with me. I don't really like to be outside in the rain (as I generally dislike getting wet), with or without an umbrella, but the sound of it pattering against the window is soothing when I'm just lounging around indoors. I live in the desert, so the rare rainy days here are almost always welcome.
Rain can help one sleep I think. I always feel more tired when it rains. Raining down buckets. Not SO good... I love the rain, when it comes to art though. It gives you so much inspiration!!!
I really love rain, it's so relaxing and nice... really helps me on some drawings, especially if my window is open and I can smell that scent of rain that just feels like everything is new again... I like rain okay
I like rain a lot. Not only does it sometimes get me out of band practice, but it's just so relaxing. It also cools everything down and I very much prefer cool weather. Pouring rain is also cool for some reason. It helps me write sometimes, too. I don't know why, it's just a nice sound when I'm busy typing...
*violently hits "whats rain?"* I'm fine with rain if I dont have to go anywhere. If I have to go outdoors in any way, shape, or form...nope.
