Randomized Run of 4th Gen Your Opinion Matters

I'd be more specific in the title, but I can't be. That's the point of this thread.You will pick the details of this run for me.

Do I do Platinum or HGSS? (I haven't played the latter)

Do I do a Nuzlocke without the death, limiting the Pokémon I can use in the extreme? Or do I do a Permadeath, where Pokémon can die, but I can catch/use whatever, whenever, unless it's dupes? Or maybe I should do a Monotype run?

Out of ALL the Pokémon from generations 1-4, what should my starter be? It can be any Pokémon, as the randomizer I plan to use gives the option to select starters.

I will randomize wild Pokémon, but what else should I randomize? The trainer Pokémon, items, what TM's Pokémon can learn, level up movesets, and abilities are all options. I won't randomize typing, as I found that annoying.

I won't be doing this until I get a new laptop. That may not be until closer to the end of next year. I will be recording this for YouTube. I'd make a video asking about it, but while I have 3 loyal viewers, who occasionally like the videos, comments are pretty much non-existant.
