So I've been using this team in ou for a while and want to know what you guys think of it. How do you think I can improve this?

    Charizard @ Charizardite Y
    Ability: Blaze
    EVs: 128 Def / 124 SpA / 128 SpD / 128 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Air Slash
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Flamethrower
    - Solar Beam

Reason: I use him for power, but I chose the ev spread I did because I also want him to be able to survive if hit. Air slash and flame thrower make for great STAB moves, dragon pulse I use against heavy dragons like garchomp, and solar beam takes advantage of the drought ability his mega provides.

    Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
    Ability: Rough Skin
    EVs: 124 Atk / 136 Def / 193 SpD / 55 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Aqua Tail
    - Earthquake
    - Poison Jab
    - Dragon Tail

Reason: Garchomp is both for his power and for the rocky helmet/ rough skin combo. Physical attackers should think twice before hitting that. I have aqua tail to hit anything that earthquake doesn't, and dragon tail for those particularly annoying Pokémon. Poison jab is in case I run into any fairies.

    Malamar @ Leftovers
    Ability: Suction Cups
    EVs: 116 Atk / 128 Def / 128 SpD / 136 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - Foul Play
    - Psycho Cut
    - Topsy-Turvy
    - Simple Beam

Reason: Malamar is probably my favorite part of this team. Foul play and psycho cut are good moves and great for STAB. Simple beam comes in handy in a lot of situations, shutting down protean greninja and huge power Pokémon, and pretty much any Pokémon that relies on its ability to win. Topsy-turvey takes those Pokémon that try to boost and shoves it in their faces. I've had people quit just from batttling this malamar.

    Zapdos @ Life Orb
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 128 Def / 128 SpA / 128 SpD / 126 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Heat Wave
    - Thunderbolt
    - Ominous Wind
    - Roost

Reason: Zapdos has lots of power, and good coverage too actually. People don't really expect heat wave in a lot of cases, or ominous wind to my surprise. Thunderbolt is just good STAB, and roost is to heal back what the life orb takes.

    Articuno @ Leftovers
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 128 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpA / 126 SpD
    Timid Nature
    - Freeze-Dry
    - Heal Bell
    - Hurricane
    - Defog

Reason: My articuno serves a couple purposes. It can use heal bell to take care of status problems for my whole team, and defog to clear away hazards. Freeze dry is a good power STAB move with the added and unexpected bonus of being super effective against water types, and hurricane takes advantage of the evasion drop defog gives to land a powerful flying type move.

    Jellicent (M) @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Scald
    - Giga Drain
    - Hex
    - Will-O-Wisp

Reason: I use jellicent for the good old will-o-wisp and hex combo. Will-o-wisp is great for taking care of tough physical attacking Pokémon and hex's double bonus just takes advantage of the situation while also getting STAB. Giga drain helps to restore more health, while scald is a good STAB move that also has a chance to burn anyways.

What do you guys think? I'd like all the help I can get! :D

    Hey shinygiratinaz!

I really like your OU team! I would suggest instead of using suction cups on malamar, you could use contrary and replace simple beam with superpower to gain the 1.5% attack and defense boost. Also to replace hex with shadow ball on jellicent to have more of a special attack power :)

    My opinion:
CharY is better off with Timid Max Speed and Sp. Atk. He wont really take a bunch of hits and he's better off as a sun sweeper. You could replace Dragon Pulse with Focus Blast, to hit Heatran and other mons.

Garchomp IMO should just be a choice scarf set. Jolly with Max Speed and Atk w/ Earthquake, Stone Edge/Rock Slide, Outrage/Dragon Claw, Iron Head/Poison Jab/Fire Blast. Based on your preference of power/accuracy.

Not going to touch up on Malamar. Seems that you like it. And besides I never used one.

Take this bulky Zapdos Spread instead:
    Zapdos @ Leftovers
    Ability: Pressure
    EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 68 SpA / 20 Spe
    Bold Nature
    - Thunderbolt
    - Roost
    - Defog
    - Heat Wave

Remove articuno. Running Hurricane under sunlight is counter productive. Try Eviolite Chansey/Sylveon if you want heal bell/wish support. I put Defog on Zapdos.

Jellicent is better off with this set. Or you could replace it with something that benefits sun (Chlorophyll user)

    Jellicent @ Leftovers
    Ability: Water Absorb
    EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 12 SpD / 44 Spe
    Bold Nature
    - Scald
    - Recover
    - Toxic
    - Ice Beam

Outspeeds base 65 Pokémon (umbreon and chesnaught are some of em)

Maybe you could try Chlorophyll Venusaur? You're also bluffing mega (though it's pretty obvious)

    Venusaur @ Life Orb
    Ability: Chlorophyll
    EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 20 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Giga Drain
    - Sludge Bomb
    - Hidden Power Fire/Sleep Powder
    - Synthesis

There you go. Just my two cents.

@[member="Slash"] Wow, thanks for all the advice! I'm still learning with the whole team-building thing, so thank you very much for the help. :D

@[member="MetaGallade"] Thank you too Meta, both of you helped me out a lot. :)
