I got three visual novels from the Steam Christmas sale. They’re Aokana: Four Rhythms Across The Blue, The Devil On G-string, and Dream Ending. All three look really good and they only added up to $42!
So. I may have gone overboard on my purchases this holiday season. Again. Playstation: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Code Vein Far Cry 5 Hitman III It Takes Two Mass Effect Legendary Edition Judgment NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 Returnal Scarlet Nexus Spider-Man: Miles Morales The Outer Wilds The Yakuza Remastered Collection Yooka-Laylee Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Switch: Big Brain Academy Borderlands Borderlands 2 Borderlands the Pre-Sequel Captain Toad Treasure Tracker Cuphead Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition (shoutout to @BZRich64 for the recommendation) Moonlighter (shoutout to @VictoryStar34 for the recommendation) Risk of Rain Risk of Rain 2 The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Here is hoping I don't do this again next year lol
I got Psychonauts 2, Monster Hunter World on steam, and a new gaming computer. its not all set up yet but excited to play
I bought a small pack in a dress-up game that came with 2 full outfits as an early birthday gift... it sounds less exciting than it actually was.
Danganronpa: First time cracking into this series. On to chapter 4 so far. I have been able to anticipate some but not all of the twists, which I appreciate Triangle Strategy: Octopath was great, am hopeful this will be too
Bought 1000 "memories" (paid currency; cost me $10) in a game I play called Arcaea. They're having anniversary sales now, so I was able to buy 2 story packs (400 memories each) and 4 individual songs (50 memories each), whereas normally that would've only gotten me 2 story packs for 500 memories each and the individual songs would've been 100 memories each. I don't have too many charts to play (I bought one pack a few months ago but otherwise I'm free-to-play), so it's always nice to have new things to play.
Arcaea on switch is also on sale. However I already have it and all the mobile packs I wouldn't call it a purchase but I bought the stuff needed to make a new ITG pad and assembled it with a few guys.
Oh I was referring to mobile Arcaea. I'd love to get it on the switch too, I just need to get a switch first though...
I recently pre-ordered Horizon Forbidden West and bought Elden Ring on Friday! I'm planning on getting Triangle Strategy soon since the demo was really fun.
I bought Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 1 at a used game store. It’s the SMT game I’ve always wanted. No instant game over when the protagonist dies, no annoying demon summoning, and straightforward dungeon design (so far). It does all of that while keeping Nocturnes excellent art style and type of soundtrack. Edit: The copy was scratched and wouldn’t work on my PS2, so I returned it.
I ordered a non-scratched up copy of Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga 1 and a copy of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. I saw them at a used game store today, but decided to get them off eBay since their prices were really inflated. I also got Unsighted to hold me over until those games are delivered. It’s a Zelda inspired Metroidvania with an in-game timer for characters lives. Waste enough time and they’re gone for the rest of the playthrough. I disabled this feature since it made the punishment for losing too high.
So, I bought Deep Rock Galatic yesterday. In the few hour I could play, I was having a good time. Definitely need others to play with cause that's how the game is to be played. @Barandofl next time it's on sale, i'll try and grab it for you. Take that as a fucking threat.
I got Demon Turf for PC. I’m glad I stuck with it.The first world is a complete eyesore, but the rest of the game is well worth playing. Beebz’s easy to learn, hard to master controls are the highlight for sure. It’s the only other platformer to rival the 3D Mario games in terms of the protagonist’s move set. The later world themes are gorgeous too. I particularly love New Neo City. The Japanese city aesthetic will never get old to me. My only other gripe would be the mini games. They’re not particularly fun or interesting. Sadly, you have to play them in order to 100% the game.
I just ordered a playstation 5 charger station as I'm having issues with the basic usb c cable I got.
I just splurged and bought a bunch of games on sale on the eShop. Castlevania Anniversary Collection Castlevania Advance Collection Megaman Zero/ZX Collection Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game World of Goo I also renewed my Pokémon Bank subscription in case I need to use it at some point.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak and Horizon Forbidden West, latter came with a console bundle. Now I just need to get the first game.
