I haven't watched much anime and I know there are a TON out there, but I would like a few request on my style. I do not mind subbed or dubbed but dubbed would be a preference. I know some anime that are like attack on titan and parasyte and such that everyone should watch, but please no tragedy or sad anime (popular suggestions are fine) like those, just please no depressing story like those two.

A few anime I have seen and probably enjoyed are:
    • Naruto + Naruto Shippuden (actively)
    • -- All inactive / not finished watches below ---
    • Yu Yu Hakusho
    • (All the simple anime you would see on TV as a kid: DBZ, Zach Bell, Inyuyasha, Pokémon etc)
    • FLCL
    • Everyday with monster girls (No I am not a pervert lmao I was asked to watch a few, it was pretty cool)
    • Eureka 7 (I want to say I remember liking the story when I was younger)
    • Bobobo Bo Bo Bobo
    • Blast of Tempest
That is all I can really think of. Not very many but there are tons I have never heard of. Thats where you come in guardian. or if I should finish one on my list, let me know

    • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (heard of it? its very good, though it does have its sad moments but in no way is it considered tragedy, its dub is also excellent)
    • One Punch Man
    • Steins; Gate (this one is a little different from the ones I've mentioned above, since its mostly sci-fi, again a very good storyline)
Hopefully there is something that you'll enjoy out of this small list ^^

I heard about Fullmetal Alchemist, I actually saw a little bit back when I was a kid. Will probably give this a try
I haven't heard much about one punch man but I have seen a picture of the guy I think (bald shiny head) and will look into Steins; Gate

If you're really into Naruto (high-five for that), there are a couple action anime I think you'd like. Some of these I haven't watched myself, but they're popular amongst others who have watched anime like Naruto, Bleach, DBZ, and etc.

    • Attack on Titan
    • One Piece
    • Fairy Tail (*)
    • Blue Exorcist (*)
    • Tokyo Ghoul (season 2 is better than season 1 imo)
    • Seraph of the End
(*) = I haven't watched it myself but I've heard many good things about it.

Out of that list, the ones I'd recommend the most are Attack on Titan, One Piece, and Fairy Tail. But the ones I personally liked the most were Tokyo Ghoul, Seraph of the End, and Attack on Titan.
You've might've also watched a bit of One Piece when you were a kid, because it fits in the DBZ, Naruto, Pokémon and etc. category. Well, for me at least.

    - One Piece has about 700+ episodes
    - Attack on Titan has 25 (in season 1, season 2 will be airing later this year)
    - Tokyo Ghoul has 24 total (12 in each season)
    - Seraph of the End also has 24 total (12 in each season)
    - Fairy Tail has over 250 (if I'm not mistaken)
    - Blue Exorcist has 25

    Hope this helps! :D

    Charizardite X ★★★★
    • One Piece (Fairy Tail isn't that good and copies a lot of stuff from One Piece)
    • One Punch Man
    • JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Favorite show)
    • Rokka no Yuusha
    • D.Gray-man
    • Samurai Champloo
    • Hunter x Hunter (2011)
    • The Seven Deadly Sins (REALLY good)
    • Overlord
    • Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic (one of my favorite shows to date, first season)
    • Magi: The Kingdom of Magic (second season)
    • Toriko
    • Nurarihyon (first and second seasons, starts off slow but it's very good)
Since you want to avoid sad shows, do NOT watch these:
    • Tokyo Ghoul (really intense/sad show)
    • Mirai Nikki (same as above, really intense and sad)
    • Attack on Titan
Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is very good, but it's also really sad; however, there's a decent amount of happy mixed in. Your call!

Three days late, but it's never too late for anime recommendations, right? I'll list some

    • Toaru Majutsu no Index & Toaru Kagaku no Railgun
    • Log Horizon
    • Air Gear
    • C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control
    • Noragami
    • Tokyo Ravens
    • Senyuu. (episodes are shorter than 5 mins, but I'm quite sure that they'll make you laugh)
I also recommend these, even though they have tragic moments.
    • Grisaia no Kajitsu/Meikyuu/Rakuen
    • Suisei no Gargantia (It's has been quite long since I watched this, so this may be in wrong list)
    • Sola
    • Mardock Scramble (trilogy of movies)
    • Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri
    • Btooom!
I can also recommend almost every anime that was mentioned by others.
