    Welcome one, welcome all, here is where you'll find a (soon to be) wide range of anime/manga recommendations based on anime/manga you've seen/read or genres you enjoy watching/reading!

    Guidelines:
    Here are some basic guidelines to help you get started on giving and receiving recommendations inside this thread.
    • You may make requests and also reply to requests any members have previously made.
    • You may also add recommendations without replying to requests.
    • Make sure to use the appropriate forms when requesting/recommending.
    • When making recommendations, be sure to be descriptive about the anime/manga you're recommending and why you think that person will like it. Generally, you should also state any reasons why you liked said anime/manga.
    • Be very clear is an anime/manga contains NSFW aspects or touchy subjects, as not all of us are comfortable with such things. This includes, but is not limited to: Blood, gore, torture (both physical and psychological), ecchi/sexy scenes (also referred to as "fanservice").
    • Links to other sites such as Crunchyroll, KissAnime, KissManga, MangaFox, MyAnimeList, AniList, and AniChart are allowed, but please do not like to the forum portions of those sites.

    Anime/manga you've enjoyed: Turn A Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Mobile Fighter G-Gundam, Princess Mononoke (even though it's a movie not a series, still anime and I liked it), Witch Hunter Robin

    I still have a number of UC Gundam series to watch but I'm interested in checking out some other mecha stuff, besides Gundam I am not huge into anime really. I'm looking for a mecha series that is not a Gundam one or Eva, falls within the above episode amount, and does not have too much silliness and over the top stuff...or at least is for the most part a serious story rather than a comedic one.
