Referral Event - Help People Find LV!

LV is a fun site with a lot to offer to Pokémon fans, and even those of us who might not be super into the series, but above all, we're a community. As community is such an important part of who we are, we're always looking to expand and bring new people into our crazy little family.

Starting today until September 1st, we're hosting a Referral Event, where you're tasked to go out there and invite new people to become a part of our community!

Guidelines

• Invite friends and strangers to check out and sign up on our forums, if they seem interested.
• Go out and find Pokémon fans but do not harass anyone into signing up. Do not do this at all on other Pokémon forums, unless they're ok with you sharing a link!
• Let them know what our community is about, what they can do here, why they should join.
• Do not create alternative accounts to gain prizes! We can check.
• Make sure they set you as their referrer. They can do this upon signing up, and you can give them a special link to sign up with. More info below.

Finding People

Usually, the best way to find someone interested in signing up is already knowing them, but if you don't know anyone who is interested, there are more ways which we encourage!

• Messaging Pokémon artists on DeviantArt.
• Messaging Pokémon fanfiction writers on Fanfiction.Net & Wattpad.
• Sharing the site to any followers you might have on social media or any of the above platforms.
• Sharing the site to people on YouTube, Twitch and Reddit. Just don't be excessive, please! We're not looking to spam.

Prizes

First Time Referrer Medal
Refer at least one person to Lake Valor.


Referral Master Medal
Refer at least 10 people to Lake Valor.


Referral Champion Medal
Refer at least 30 people to Lake Valor.

For every person you refer during this event, you will gain 5 PokéPoints. Medals also automatically give out PokéPoints.

*Users must have been referred after this thread was posted.
*Your progress towards these medals now will count even after the event is over.

Remember guys, you only need to refer ONE user to get a shiny new medal, that's 5 PokéPoints and then you get another 5 too!

Sorry, that's not how this works. They would have needed to refer you AFTER this event started. I highly recommend you start referring some people yourself, you can get some great prizes!
