What are the most relaxing tracks you've heard in video games? Did you find the location they played in memorable?

I'll start us off with one of my personal favourites: the night variation of Satorl, the Shimmering Marsh, from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Disclaimer: I may or may not steal your selections for a wake-up playlist I'm building.

There's prolly a lot more I know but ofc the City of Tears was the first I could think of. Beautiful music, beautiful art style, jfc I love that game.

Well, I would say a lot of AHiT music, but ChocoChicken seems to have beaten me to the punch on that one, so I'll just have to go with the classic relaxing video game music.

There's hours of chill Destiny themes just by staying in orbit.

Heh, I can't even see previews or titles of those embeds. Oh well, I hope I'm not duplicating anything.

Aquatic Ambiance from Donkey Kong Country is divinely chill for a game that's so hectic in its platforming.

Richard's Villa from Legend of Zelda LA is very relaxing. Or maybe it's just the two remixes by Prophetik that are?

A lot of NieR Automata's soundtracks are calm as well, particularly City of Ruins comes to mind.

The only thing I can think off of the top of my head is music from Animal Crossing. It's full of relaxing music, but to be fair, that is just the kind of game it is. I guess Torigoth's night theme from Xenoblade 2 is another good one. That's all I can think of right now.

Let's see what I have in my non-existent playlist...
Almost every song that plays in Animal Crossing, the Tetris theme (for less-than-obvious-reasons), and the Devilijho's theme from Monster Hunter: World. It seems action and quick reflex music is more soothing than actually soft music.

Say what you want about Undertale, it has some really nice music.

Lillie’s theme from Pokémon Sun and Moon is relaxing to me. Another is Snowdin Town from Undertale. And I agree with Zelda’s Lullaby.

Edit: RadEmpoleon’s two recommended songs are practically just remixed versions of the same song. I find Waterfall more relaxing than Ruins, but that’s more preferance. I agree with their point about the music though.

I've got a few down below in the spoilers. Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite sources for relaxing video game music:
