Relic Castle

Huh, I wasn't aware Unova was intended to be based on New York, I figured it was based off an actual region of Japan, like how all of the previous regions were. Bringing that up though it is an..interesting correlation to 9/11, and well, can't say it's an inaccurate one I guess. Maybe they were in fact intending to have Relic Tower are based off 'Ground Zero', then. If so I'm glad mainstream media in America didn't figure it out and throw a fit about it "mocking" or representing the tragedy and then stigmatizing or banning Gen 5 Pokémon games.

Yeah it would have. I suppose in Black/White 2 they are doing construction in another part of it and built up Route 4 a bit, but the castle is just left to fill with sand. Desert Resort has to be the crappiest resort I've ever heard of, it's essentially a big field of sand with ruins that people stand around in. Great resort guys 10/10 would vacation again.

 

I thought it was based off the U.S. and Castelia (excuse spelling) was based off NY O.o

 

Resort? More like to be Desert ruins... there's no water, no hotels, no towel boys... why is it called Desert Resort?

 

Wow and here I thought that the "Desert Resort" Meant "COME REST IN THE HOT SAND AND LET IT SOOTH YOUR ACHES AND PAINS" you know what I mean and "Fun in the Sun" as well. well when I went exploring the Ruins I found a Volcrona.

 

Is this white or white2? I don't remember any ruins in white2...

 

I'm quite sure it's based on BW because Elesa's new gym isn't on the map and the path to Nimbasa is still covered in sand, unlike in BW2 where the construction is already complete with several buildings on the side.
You can't fully explore the Relic Castle's basement in BW2 because the hole that leads to the ruins is blocked (You can still go into Volcarona's chamber through the Relic Passage) but you can in BW after beating the Pokémon League and this is where you'll find one of the sages.

 

I can imagine the uproar... @_@ And yah it's a interesting theory. I never really thought about the connection between the two but it certainly makes you think
