And maybe the first two Paper Mario games (not that the latter doesn't still hold up, because it does).

 

Yo Bethesda, can we have a remastered Oblivion to fix your ugly potato faces and optionally also your poorly-planned game mechanics? Please and thank you. Same goes for Fallout 3 and Morrowind, to be honest. Both very good games that have their flaws and have aged. Not aged gracefully, also not aged badly. Just aged.

I wish Capcom would have continued with their Mega Man X1-X5 remasters with the Maverick Hunter X series. The gameplay was well imitated, the voice acting and visuals were good, the music should have a "classic" option, the level design was remixed just enough to be fresh. They were on to a good thing, and they should have continued up through the fifth entry. Maybe even gone on to the Zero series, though ZX would require DS-like hardware.

Also, it would be nice to have any number of the Final Fantasy games (I'm mostly looking at 4 and 6, but any of the first 6 deserve it) redone with some eye candy. They could build upon the graphics style they use in Dissidia OO (slightly chibi, but only slightly) and really breathe new life into those games. Get some graphics better than PSP sprites (see 1+2 and 6) and NDS low-resolution 3D models (see 4+4.5), some voice acting for cut scenes... I'm pretty sure it would pay off financially.

 

Pokémon Have Some Remastered Games Like 'Let's Go' Series For Pokémon Yellow And Kingdom Hearts Also Remastered Games By Combine Those Remastered Games In One Bundle Which Kingdom Hearts 'The Story So Far' Did By Combining 'Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + Kingdom Hearts 2.5+ Kingdom Hearts 2.8' Into One Bundle To Prepare For Kingdom Hearts 3.

But What I Hope To See Is Some Fire Emblem Remastered Games- Look, A Lot Of Fire Emblem Games Are In Game Boy And Been Remastered On DS And Only One Fire Emblem Games Have Been Remake Which Is 'Fire Emblem Echoes' Which Is Remake Of 'Fire Emblem Gaiden'. What I Wish For Fire Emblem Remastered Game Is To Put Already Remastered In DS To Remastered Again But In 3DS Graphics. Plus It May Be A Chance To Remaster All Of Fire Emblem Game Again After The Fire Emblem Three Heroes Been Released On Nintendo Switch.

 

Xenoblade Chronicles.

...well, if I'm honest I would settle for a straight-up port, but it's an old game now, Shulk and Fiora don't look *too* bad in XC2, and I'd love to see the Greatest Game Ever Created get the remaster treatment for the Switch. Those fish faces are extremely alarming at times...and I honestly just want an excuse to replay it.

NieR, for similar reasons. This one is down to money, so I have hopes this could happen. It would if Taro had his way, I know that much. But the thought of NieR with Automata's combat system is a wonderful one...NieR has a vastly superior narrative and cast to Automata in my opinion, but Automata's combat is much better, so...best of both world.

...Drakengard, on the subject of NieR. JUST the original, though. The second game was disgustingly bad, and the third was a bit of a letdown. But the first was beautiful madness and I'd love for it to get a remaster...provided they didn't censor any of it. Which would warrant an 18+ rating at least and probably result in it never reaching Western shores, but...eh. I want to see the Grotesqueries with updated visuals. I've never been more disturbed by a video game.

Final Fantasy VIII, because Square Enix's irritating skipping of it needs to STOP. I think this is due to licensing issues with Eyes on Me for some reason, but they could AT LEAST port the PC version - with the PS1 audio, for the love of everything sacred - to the Switch with a few touch-ups. Worked for VII and IX. VIII is better than both, so why not?

Konami need to get off their backsides and do something constructive with Castlevania. If they can bring Symphony of the Night to the PS4, they can bring Aria of Sorrow to the Switch. As my favourite Castlevania title, I would LOVE to see this get a remaster...instead of a TERRIBLE sequel. Circle of the Moon could probably use it more, because it hasn't aged well, and Harmony of Dissonance was always bad, but Aria definitely deserves it the most.

I'd also like to see Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes get a remaster for the Switch. As a remake of the original it was fantastic, and honestly the original Metal Gear Solid is the only one I've actually enjoyed playing.

...Baten Kaitos for the same reason. Also, it'd be great if they could remaster the second game and actually release it in Europe this time. Or not, I suppose importing is a thing now for Nintendo consoles.

Also, since we're getting Crash, Spyro, and Sir Dan revived for the PS4, I'd like to see Croc come back, for something a little cuter. Banjo-Kazooie is one I am hesitant to hope for given how AWFUL the Nuts and Bolts redesign was - and Conker for the same reason - but if they were remastered right it'd be great to see them again. I'd also like it if they went a bit further back and remastered some of the old Disney games...Aladdin and The Lion King were both amazing and they'd look great on modern consoles.

If we're not going to get another one, the Legacy of Kain series all need remastering, too.
