Remove a Character from X/Y

Tierno and Trevor, because they were downright useless. Pre and post-game alike.

 

Yeah, probably Tierno for serving no purpose other than attempts at comedy relief.

 

Trevor and Tierno. THEY DID NOTHING BUT ANNOY ME. I don't think they had any plot significance whatsoever, and if they did it was probably not very relevant to remember, so I would remove them.

 

Serena, because she annoyed me. Plus she didn't really do anything during the whole Legendary Pokémon thing..

 

Calem/Serena, your friend. (Obviously they'd be kept as playable characters.) They did barely anything despite being one of your main rivals; hell, they were pretty useless when you needed their help most. The only useful thing they did was give away Absolite.

 

A lot of the characters in X and Y unfortunately didn't exactly have a whole lot of story to them making them kind of unmemorable in the fist place though definitely Tierno and Trevor were probably the most useless. They're kind of like different personalities of different rivals we've already seen but because you don't see them that much it's not really used effectively and they don't really stand out. I feel like having so many rivals just didn't work because their characters were so stale.

 

I honestly didn't like any of the characters in XY but they were better in the anime. I would personally get rid of Tierno I honestly found him pretty annoying and saw no perpose of him within the game. I can see Trevor staying since he is the rival that enjoys filling up his Pokédex. Tierno was only there since he wanted to be a dancer but he honestly didn't do much of anything.

 

The side characters had potential, I don't know why they ended up being so forgetful and bland. Whats the point of having side characters if you don't DO anything with them? I'm going to have to go with Tierno firstly, and Trevor second. At least the girl (who's name I forget atm) was useful at times, though incredibly annoying.

 

I would remove Tierno and Trevor. Honestly all they did was annoy me. Probably the only reason they are in the game. Tierno had this obsession with dancing and Trevor wanted to complete the Pokédex. Seems like a waste of a journey for them.

 

Tierno, same as everyone else.

He serves no narrative purpose, is annoying, and he should not be in the games.

 

Yeah like everyone said Tierno and Trevor, they both done nothing in the game just simple annoy you.

At least Shauna help you in the game.

 

I would probably get rid of Tierno and Shauna. Tierno was wierd and all he did was talk about dancing. Shauna on the other hand creeps me out. I feel like she is hitting on me during the entire game.

 

I don't think they should remove characters that what really forms a game i think they can take out a Pokémon trainer class type o-o ​

 

I think it would be that chubby guy Tierno, as i'm gonna agree that he was nothing memorable and served to be a waste of time. That and he was the cause of nearly a third of my deaths in my X Wedlocke.

 

I always hate to bandwagon, but i do have a new reason (one not listed) to remove Tierno and that's that he doesn't deserve the medal of Kalos. Every single character except him does something to help fight team flare. He just spends his time dancing with skipbloom. (well I suppose that's narritive isn't it) The only thing I like about Tierno is his vanilite shirt. It's cool.

 

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Dexio and Sina yet! Apparently they were so forgettable that people don't even remember them, haha. Their inclusion in the story was so pointless, all of their appearences and inclusion in the story was the most basic of basic stuff that your actual rivals and friends could have done. All they did was take up space, and they didn't even do anything useful other than having unique sprites. You don't even battle them at all. I hate them so much, they were the epitome of pointless characters.

 

Nurse Joy, for telling me she wants my Pokémon to experience pain. What a sadistic woman.

 

Trevor needs a haircut and Tierno needs to chill with his dancing. Everything either of them said made me not really feeling it.
