Replacing words with other words:

I'm going to cut straight to the point: I saw some wonderful XKCD comics (1, 2, 3) with the idea that by replacing some words with some other words, the entire internet can become a better place.

I went a little bit of an extra mile and found a Firefox extension (no word yet on Chrome et al), which actually lets you do just that. You can replace words with other words to your liking. I already inputted everything in those three links, however with some small edits to some, like instead of Senator becoming Elf-Lord, is now Overlord; and instead if Google Glass becoming VirtualBoy, is now iEye. I'm also working on figuring out a way to non-manually hand that replacement list over to anyone who wants the easy way to getting those replaced words, so don't go ahead and type them all in so soon, when I can save you the effort.

Facebook -> Lifeinvader
Florida man -> FLORIDA-MAN!
The UK -> Middle Earth
Crime rate -> Wild Pokémon encounter rate
Dollars - > Space Bucks
