    For all those fans of RoosterTeeth and RWBY, there is something that you guys may or may not know.

    Yesterday, Monty Oum died of a severe allergic reaction. The creator of RWBY was hospitalized, but he did not recover after the allergic reaction.

    For all those fans out there, band together and let's give Monty a good send off, courtesy of all those on Lake Valor who loved him so much.

    Monty, you brought such a great show into our lives. From the moment I first saw the trailer I knew that your show was going to be amazing. I was certain that the show would be a hit as soon as it aired. And when it finally came out, I was amazed. I had expected an epic show with massive brawls, and while we got that, we also got a great comedy series. We loved every character (except Cardin, that guy is an ass), and you put such amazing fanservice, including the design Velvet's battle outfit competition.

    Monty, your pure genius is something that I don't think can be replicated for a while, and you will be missed.

    I didn't know the guy personally, nor was I that familiar with his content, but I do wish the best for his friends and family. He inspired thousands, if not, millions.

    Very sad to hear this. I did not watch his works but this man had a great vision and made a lot of people happy which is a very uncommon trait in a lot of people now days, so rest in peace Monty.

    Can't believe I didn't see this earlier.

    Heartbreaking news.. my thoughts go out to his friends and family. I'm glad Monty at least passed surrounded by those he loved as well as the countless of appreciative fans who were there with him either physically or in spirit. Rest in peace.

    Poor Monty! I really love him and his work. I wish his family the best, as well as the thousands of fans he has had. He had an amazing vision and worked hard to achieve it. May he be at peace in death.

    I just noticed this today, and it's been over a month, but I still want to say something.

    Monty Oum honestly changed my life. His works made me happy when I thought nothing could. "Keep Moving Forward" was a phrase I thought to myself when something harbored me down. When I heard he passed, I took it really hard and was grieving heavily for more than a week. It wouldn't seem like someone I've never met would affect me so much, but I suppose life is funny in that way.

    In the month and a half they've had since his passing, RoosterTeeth has announced that they are opening an office in L.A., appeared at PAX, set a release date for the 13th season of Red vs. Blue, and said that RWBY, Monty's creation and legacy, will continue as planned.

    It's amazing to me that this company has been able to personify Monty's words so brilliantly.

    Keep moving forward, always.
