Do you restart your games when you get bored of them or want to play through again?

I love restarting my games xD It's one of the things I love about the Pokémon games. You can replay them with new teams and it will feel like a new experience every time, at least for me.

I do sometimes. Like I recently restarted Pokémon XD because I didn't catch all of the Shadow Pokémon.

Yes, but not the one that contains my Lv.100s, Shinies, Ect. Right now that game is Black 2!

No way, never, only on ROMs or if the game gets erased somehow accidentally. I spend a lot of time with playthroughs and I don't just rush through the Gyms as fast as I can, so deleting a playthrough would be like deleting hours and hours of my time. I keep my games in-tact, and if I really want to replay an old one just to play again I use a ROM instead.

Nah, no need for me, since I only can play roms, so if I decide I want to play it through with a different team, then I'll just make another save. If I get bored, well, I can easily just switch to another rom that I've collected. I curretnly have every single Gen in my folder full of roms, just as far back to Emerald and Leaf Green on VBA. Getting the ones older than that is pointless because I've played Blue and crystal over and over so many times on my phone that they became completely boring.

No, I haven't restarted a single game... though I accidentally restarted my fire red that I already have the legendaries caught... and not knowing that Moltres was a legendary, I killed it. I was a kid back then...Anyway, I haven't finished playing black yet so restarting is not going to be a problem, yet.... Although I won't restart it when I finish said game.

I feel like restarting Black 2 because i felt like i shouldn't rushed through it, I'm like that with many Pokémon games it seems.

Only if I have another game of the same generation so I can trade the important Pokémons there before restarting. For example I kept all the important Pokémons on Sapphire and restarted Ruby a billion times.

I think I'll only restart after doing all I want to do on the games and transferring everything to the next gen game. It's a shame to lose all the items and stuff, but playing through the game again can be worth it!

I only restart older games once there is a new game out, for example, I traded everything from diamond to heart gold when I finished hg to restart D. Then white came out and I did the same thing, and same with W2. Though I usually wait a long time before doing so. Anyways, a lot of the Pokémon I have on my w2 game I've had since diamond and have been traded over a lot! I'll probably do the same once x/y comes out too.

I usually restart my games. Like Ashe, restarting and using a different team is like experiencing the game for the first time again. It's so fun :D However, there are two games I won't restart one due to the Pokémon I've obtained on them. Those two games are Diamond and Black 2. I have a lot of Pokémon I use for breeding purposes on those two games.

I only reset after I've transferred all the Pokémon I've had to a different game, because I usually develop some kind of attachment to them. I know it sounds kind of stupid, but it's just a pet peeve I have to just throw all of that away.

If I've transferred though, I can restart without feeling guilty.

I typically restart after I haven't played a game for awhile.. I've done this on Black / White recently because I wanted to get into it again and I had no idea what I was doing previously / what I was supposed to be doing in the first place.

I really like starting games over and Nuzlocke-ing them though. I just enjoy the challenge and time-consumption I get from it. :D

    This.

I feel like restarting a game is indeed a waste of many hours. The only time I've done it/plan to do it was when 1) I was really young and 2) recently because I'm trying to get all the pokmon in Black which required me to trade over starters I didn't have in some of the previous games. I did trade over a lot of my Pokémon though.

    Yes and No

Normally I don't restart a game but I did it with Pearl and SoulSilver because I was bored...
But I always have Games that I never will restart like Pokémon White and White 2 (because my good Pokémon are on this)

I do, but I usually have to go grieve for my laziness and my lost Pokémon for a little while afterwards.

Yes, I will always comfortably restart a game when I want to play over again. I keep all my special Pokémon on my White 2 (or whatever the newest game is) so I don't lose them, but I don't have too much of a problem losing other stuff. ^-^

    umm, Hardly.
I recent re-start my leaf green, but not before I send all my pkm to my silver game

I once re-start Black, but send too White , than all White Pokémon +Old black pkm back to my Black game.
I would go crazy re-starting any off my other games
