Riley and his Riolu

Ouch, man. That's cold. Just leaving him hanging?

I sometimes raise it, but others I just leave it there. In the box. I always get it though.

 

Most of the time I already had a full team at that point in the game, but I did end up using him in one playthrough. Once he evolves he's extremely powerful, and I found it easy to train him up to my other Pokémon's levels.

 

I raised it...to level 28...then gave up.

 

I used him in my first run because my team still had some problems and I was planning on replacing a lot of Pokémon in it, anyway. Riolu was there, I liked how he looked, so I took him, and trained him. He was easy to level up, so there wasn't much problem in it. However, as I replayed the Sinnoh games I never used him again, but I did always go to get him.

 

I still have Riolu in my Platinum game. Like some of the others here, I had my full team by then. I'd still take the egg and hatch itbut it's hard devoting the time to raising it.

 

For some reason..i always raise it. I should probably use a different fighting type in my team XD

 

Got him after the game was done for my Pokédex, so I could transfer and all too

 

I only hatched the egg on my early files, then put it into the PC. Now when I get the egg, I don't even bother to hatch it; I just throw it into the PC.

 

I always get the egg but I've never used it. I've never used a riolu or lucario either.

 

I raise him to like 63 and got bored of Lucario.

 

I don't think I realised how strong Lucario was until I put Platinum down for a long time. Forever in the PC.
I first used Riolu in Explorers of Sky and I started using him in Black 2 as a regular party member, thinking, Riolu is op, why wouldn't Lucario be.

 

I didn't really use Riolu in my Diamond or Platinum games. I would only accept him so I could get more in my Pokédex.

 

I got a Riolu (and eventually Lucario) just because of the movie. Lucario was so cool there and I loved how Riley looked so much like Sir Aaron. I just had to raise one because one of my most favorite Pokémon movie character's descendant (cause that's how Riley will be for me, a descendant of Sir Aaron) gave me one.
