Rival Barry

I swear I'm not bias. Barry has always been my favorite rival since I've seen him. He is adorable and I love his FC. I admit he can be a bit annoying at times but it's hard to notice because of how enjoyable he was. I liked the fact that he was involved in the plot and helped you take on Team Galactic. I feel that's what most of these new rivals are missing well XY that is and that is their involvement. I found him competitive and he was enjoyable to battle within the game series. Did I mention that I love his design?

 

I thought Barry was interesting. Especially comparing his personality from that of the beginning of the game, to where the Galactic admin beats him at Lake Acuity, to when he teams up with you at the Spear Pillar. Throughout the game he grows and changes as a character, which I think is cool.

It's also been about two years since I've touched Platinum so sorry it's so vague.

 

Barry was an interesting rival. I really liked to laugh at his behaviors and how he'd rush through everything and always want to do everything as hasty as possible. But I couldn't help but like him, since he really did want what was "best." XD

 

I never really knew what to think of him. He was a bit confusing to me, so I just quickly went over his dialogue whenever he appeared, battled him, and went on with whatever I was doing. I don't really know how much of the game I missed that way, but I might play it again just to see what kind of character he is

 

I found Barry to be one of the easiest rivals to defeat but at the same time his personality was just so quirky and entertaining.. definitely one of the more unique rivals in the entire franchise. He's adorable and the anime episodes dedicated to him only made my love for the guy grow so yes, I'm a pretty big fan, especially due to his involvement in the story.

...now I really miss him. </3

 

Barry was such a fun and energetic character who was extremely cheerful, which I absolutely loved! He was so impatient, and he actually acted like his age. He was actually a pretty challenging trainer considering how diverse his team was, and how he would catch you off guard to battle. I love his design and concept. I just love it.

 

Barry always made my game crash with his energy XD That guy has some serious ADHD. But if you take that away, he is a pretty though opponent to fight. So I always see him as a though to beat opponent with too much energy xD

 

He had a pretty good team in my opinion, some of his 'mons gave me a problem at times. He has a great personality too, so much enthusiasm and energy!
Not to mention he's one of the special kiddies with a dad in the game. A strong and relevant dad at that

 

He wasn't challenging, but he certainly lived up to his character by being flat out obnoxious. No interesting experiences from what I can remember.

 

I don't like him, haha. He was insanely annoying. It was like battling with a guy who was on cocaine all the time.

 

I like him as a rival, but I'm not really sure why. :/

I guess his personality reminds me of my sister.

 

Barry was an amazing rival, better than the old generations, and I love his sprites~
There one of the easiest to recolor from.

 

Barry was definitely interesting, but not my favorite rival. He was more amusing than anything else, and he was fun to battle at least!
