Not done it for a while but this is definitely something I love. Feeling the wind from the window in your car and seeing nature as you drive by is an absolutely unforgettable experience each time. We've taken long drives to get to places before and I'd much, much rather that than a flight even if it's a lot quicker. Just so much more relaxing. America has many gorgeous lakes and mountains to see on the east coast
On an alternate coast, the west is absolutely stunning with pine forests stretching all over the major interstate highways that I travel. I do like road trips, they are always fun where I can see the endless pine forest for miles. Also, it allows me time to play video games that I wouldn't normally play.
Road trips are pretty cool. My family usually travels by car anyway, since airplane travel for a family of 7 is expensive, and we usually travel in our home state (xd lol I’m not saying what it is). I see lots of trees, especially palm trees which are beautiful, and I try to take pictures in the car of palm trees, bridges, and any bodies of water. I also play games like Uno with my sisters in the car. Of course, I get really bored and impatient really fast. And that’s not good for long distance trips.
Until two years ago, the only way I ever travelled was by car. We’d drive around Oregon, Washington, and later, California, Arizona, and Idaho. Before I got into video games, I’d spend hours writing in a journal or watching something on a portable DVD player. Once my parents started letting me sit up front, I started to play music and talk more during the trips. It made otherwise boring trips fun and exciting.
I enjoy road trips, to an extent. I like driving and being right near my family. I enjoy the snacks, and the books/music that we listen to during the drive. I especially like how I just so happen to have one of the only seats in the car where nobody's sitting next to me so I have plenty of space (we don't have assigned seats, but we all just sit in the same seats every time). What I could do without though is the bickering between siblings.
Road trips have always been a ton of fun! I have fond memories of road trips when I was young, centered around the one Gameboy Advance I had to split between my siblings. At night, it would be too dark to see the screen, so we would use streetlamps to catch a glimpse every once in a while. Now that I'm older, I LOVE driving long distance. Taking in scenery, eating snacks, listening to music, talking with the passengers... it's one of my favorite things.
