When Roleplaying, do you ever consider which gender you prefer to roleplay as? Some characters are always fun to roleplay as regardless of their gender. Sometimes, you can even learn more about the opposite gender when roleplaying. Do you prefer a certain gender over another when roleplaying? Or are you mutual when it comes to roleplaying genders? I consider myself mutual when it comes to fabricating a roleplaying character and selecting their gender, but I usually roleplay as a female character because they are easier to develop and relate to in a sense. However, I think its interesting to roleplay as either gender, and it doesn't really make too much of a difference.

I am a lot more comfortable with being a male while roleplaying. I have actually done a few female characters by roleplaying, but it just isn't the same because I don't know what really goes on inside of their heads and how and why they act the way the do. It is definitely interesting to roleplay as both, but I think that the male is more fun for me :).

I like having both a male and female character. I usually have a carefree female character and a male character who is similar to my own personality. The third character always depends on the rp and what I want to create.

I go for a male in most RPs, but I will be a female occasionally.

I haven't Roleplayed since the two I was in shut down, but I am more of focusing on the male roles. If ever needed, I'll try out a female role, but will have slight difficulty with trying understand how they think and such, Pokémon or non Pokémon. I sometimes will try to focus on just my main characters, Jarzair and Akio(both Male), and try to use them if possible even if I have to change a small thing.

I usually Rp as male characters but I do occasionally Rp as a female character. I feel more comfortable with male pronouns even though I am female myself; it's just that I prefer male characters as such. I can roleplay as a female character but tend to go with male ones.

Most of my characters tend to be predominantly male, but it's usually more coincidental than conscious choosing; I enjoy playing both genders equally! When I have a large list of characters, I usually try to balance out how many of each gender I have. Though in the case of roleplaying with canon characters, it all just boils down to who I feel like playing the most, regardless of male or female.

Both genders are fun to play as. If I'm being honest, a lot of my male OCs have more feminine traits, and more of my OCs are female, but I still think there are pros and cons to playing both. IMO gender isn't a huge factor for a character, but I still suppose there are different ways each work.
