Roller Skates!

I loved the roller skates! I used them all the time, haha. It was easier (and more fun) to use the skates on the circle pad than to hold down B and run or fetch the bike.

 

I like them! Quick and easy way to travel without having to use the bike. I used them all the time to travel from town to town and you can use them to skate on rails to get special places too.

 

Before Fly became an option for travelling from town to town, I always used the skates. Not only are they quick, but I personally find the D-pad's placement on the 3DS a little awkward and never use it unless I have to. I actually completely forgot about the bike even after obtaining it, though I agree that it's a lot better for hatching eggs and controls more smoothly. Both have their uses, but the skates were a really convenient and nice addition to the game!

 

Rollarskates made it so much easier for me to get through the region without holding B or pulling out my bike. It was so easy to use, and I loved the tricks! The rollarskates actually got me back into rollarblading, and it's so much fun! I love rollarskates.

 

I love this feature! I was disappointed it didn't return in OR/AS. I hope we get something similar to this, as it was really awesome. Felt good to do, too.

 

I couldn't quite adjust to using the circle pad for Pokémon when X/Y had just been released.. ended up using the arrow keys to move around most of the time. But now that OR/AS are out I can't stop using the circle pad in a game that didn't even bring the rollerskating feature over, sigh. I really do miss it - took it for granted back in the day. ;_; 'least we have bikes, though.

 

I used the roller skates so much more than i used the bike, purely because it was so much fun doing flips and spins that i commonly got heavily distracted from my adventure just to do flips

 

They were a little hard to control from time to time, but they were awesome, I always used them to get everywhere. I was actually kinda disappointed when they come back in ORAS.

 

I loved these. I thought they were so much fun to use, but they could be aggravating when trying to get into a building, much like a bike was The best part was not needing to hold down any button to continuously go fast, though the tricks were a close second

 

I used the bike a lot while breeding and whatnot, but I still really liked the skates! They had really nice, fluid motion, plus the tricks going over ledges were fun to do, haha. I still prefer ORAS's method of walking/sneaking, but the roller skates were still really cool to me.

 

The rollerskates were fun and you got to learn tricks! The only thing I didn't really like was that you walked slower if you were in the tall grass when you accidently use the circle pad to move. Other than that I really liked the feature. Do you think we might get it back in future games?

 

I liked using them, since it was a cool new way of getting around the place. I like travelling with the circle pad normally though so sometimes it was a bit irritating that I'd have to go back to the Dpad to walk or run >V>;; Maybe if there was an option to have it set to the circle pad at all times or as a key item I'd like them even more.

I loved the Roller Skates and used them a lot, They were an excellent idea, and I was disappointed to not see them present in ORAS. I hope they stick around for other future games though. When it comes to breeding, however, I take the old cycling method, for it is slightly quicker.

 

Roller Skates made the C-Pad useful to me. I was totally fine with the Running Shoes, and I didn't believe they were slow, but when I got those Roller Skates, I was breezing through the region like it was no-ones business.
