Rune Factory

Nah I don't think it requires an anime. I'd rather favor games than anything.
My favorite by far is RF3. Love the Wooly transformation! So much that my Wooly form brawling level is waaay greater than my walking/ sleeping/ every other level in the game.
Third also has the best characters in my opinion, although I really love all of them. Their designs and personalities are very well thought out.

All in all I really enjoy the RF series, yet it's not surprising as I grew up with Harvest Moon and the games hold a dear place in my heart, and now being able to play the usual Harvest Moon with fighting and fantasy elements?? Yup, I'm in for good. Factually after I saw the commercial for first game on german channel, I bought a DS within two weeks JUST to have that game! Along with some others, but that's unrelated to the topic.
Still have a magazine from germany as well that also features the commercial for RF1.

Right now am looking forward to RF4 and still hoping to catch the Wii games.

 

I like this game too!
I've played RF2 and RF3. Both games are pretty good, but I like RF3 better. The second one was kinda hard for me. It took me forever to train the crafting and smithing skills.
I like the character designs as well. I named my Kingdra after one of the dragons, Aquaticus.
I'm not sure if I'm going to buy the next one, though.

 

I'd watch an 12 ep anime honestly. As much as it's not exactly required, I love the character designs so why not, haha.

RF1 was okay, like any other classic. Least favorite, but hey, being the first game in a series, it still holds it's quality. The characters were nice there, too. All in all there's way less to do than in RF2, and it's not all that exciting.

Augh, the training in previous games really was a pain. I'm glad we got the transformation in 3.

Kinda sad how 4 won't have it anymore apparently. Biggest disappointment right there.

I have the first Rune Factory for DS, which I enjoyed! It was a nice spin off of Harvest Moon

 

AHMAIGAHD!!!

The Rune Factory series has to be the best HM game, EVER!! A friend of mine introduced me to HM:MoFMT, and I've been hooked to the series ever since. When I saw that they made an fantasy RPG spin off, I just had to get it! XD

Out of all the RF games so far, I absolutely love 3. RF3 was the one I finished the fastest. XD I have played all games except the Oceans one. I'm so excited for RF4 since you can actually play as a girl!! AAGHH! I had fun with RF3 since Micah's design is so girly, I can just imagine him as a girl and being together with Zaid. XD That's not the only reason I love RF3, though. Aside from the transformation thing, Dual Swords, baby. Dual Swords. Oh, and the graphics were really a big upgrade from 1.

The RF series will always be very dear to me, right up there with Pokémon. Heck, I have the complete BMG soundtrack which I listen to when I draw. XD (I only get the full soundtrack of games that I really love, like TWEWY, Persona, etc.)

 

In one, I am aiming for the hardest to get, Mei. You need to have a LV 60 (I think) Loversnapper. That's really hard to do.

In RF2, I am married to Yue and Rosalind. I have a thing for those Japanese-y looking charas and Uncle Max is just too cute!

In RF3, I married Dorothy. She's just so eccentric and funny that if I played as a girl, she would be my BFF. Besides, who doesn't like a girl wielding a Battle Hammer?!

In Fronteir, I'm liking Iris, that vampire/spirit lady.

It's just a bummer that you can only play as a girl in Oceans AFTER the main story line.

RF4 here I come!!
