Running Shoes

Thank goodness for them! Walking everywhere is pretty awful imo, especially before getting Fly.

 

Definitely glad they introduced them. I started with them in Gen III, so when I played Yellow for the first time it felt so slow. I was really, really glad when they introduced indoor running around too, in Gen V or whatever it was.

 

They're absolutely amazing without a doubt. It was.. a pain to walk around everywhere, needless to say, especially when the pace of the character was so slow. About time we got a more realistic touch added since it's not like the protagonist has problems with their legs or anything, right? Baha. Run everywhere or bust.. I pretty much never walked normally after getting the running shoes. (*‿*✿)

 

Running Shoes was one prop I gave for Gen III. They were a nice placeholder for the Bicycle.

 

They were a gift from above, Having to walk that slow up until that point wasn't much fun

 

These were incredibly useful. I hated having to walk so slowly until I could get them, it was a real pain.

 

Without Running shoes, it'd take twice as long to play the games.
That thing is a gift from Heaven.

 

Running Shoes are one of Pokémon's greatest inventions ever. I can't imagine going through a whole game without it - it would be extremely frustrating. (Although technically, if the Running Shoes hadn't been implemented in the first place, there wouldn't be any higher walking speeds to compare the normal walking speeds to lol.)

The addition of the running shoes saved my life. Not really, but it made it so much easier to get around without a bike! I still love using the running shoes in the games today, I highly prefer them to being on a bike all the time.
