Saddest Pokemon Episode?

This. Also there's an episode in the first season where they find a forest with a group of Pikachu, and Ash wants to leave his Pikachu there. Obviously didn't end up happening but the way they went about the episode was pretty sad, I mean for Pokémon standards.

 

I know its not an episode, but the Latios and Latias movie made me so sad.

 

The episodes that were mentioned earlier, Butterfree and Charizard were both the episodes that were most heartfelt to me.

 

Well, I remember the Christmas episode where they went to the north pole or whatever and Santa was there and there was a jynx. I remember Pikachu getting a present at the end and I cried for so long. Also, when Pikachu's ketchup got sliced open.

Weird things trigger crying for me, okay.

 

Dude, really?=D The Lucario and the Mystery of Mew gets me every time! I also think that the Ralts episode with Max and ESPECIALLY the one where Pikachu lost its memories in Hoenn.^-^

 

I cried when Butterfree left :'(
But when this sad music appears ALL sad moments make me cry....

 

Any episode where a character has to let their Pokémon go is a very sad episode.

ive never seen that episode, Maybe they cut it out in the Dutch Version.

 

I have to agree with all those mentioned above. They were all really sad and brought me to tears. But what really made me cry was when Misty left. That episode...just...GAH!!!

A close second was those episodes with Larvitar near the last part of the Johto season. I really wanted that Larvitar to be with Ash...ever since that ep, I have always loved Larvitar.

 

I liked the song when Misty is left, but most the Dutch version .

Omg that music is so sad up there, I remember that music; wasn't it when Ash was having a flashback of his times with Pikachu as he was about to let it go in the forest full of them and as he was running away?

I'd have to say all of the above were the saddest, especially when Jessie and James had to leave Arbok and Weezing, but the Jirachi Wish Maker movie was the most emotional part of Pokémon for me when I was a little kid.

 

I luved the music they used on the goodbye eps,
I once made a AMV with it, its too bad noone had the good thoughths about it, as it hardly got viewed-.-

 

I don't really watch the anime, but I always found the before-mentioned episode where Pikachu nearly left was heartbreaking, even though he didn't leave.

 

Not sure if it counts, but I think that PM Explorers of Sky episode was the most heartbreaking one. Especially when Grovyle went into the portal, and the music didn't help either. It brought tears to my eyes.

 

The Pikachu episode definitely made me cry and both the movies Pokémon Heroes and the one with Lucario and Mew are so sad. Poor Lucario.
