Saints Row 1/Saints Row 2 Review

    Hey guys. I played Saints Row 2 a while back, and I've been playing Saints Row for the past week. Honestly, I think these games are very fun if you aren't in to online gaming or if you don't have XBOX LIVE.

    The games are open-world action/adventure, and you are a gangster trying to take over a city. The game's style is very similar to Grand Theft Auto.

    Why it's fun: The main story is very interesting, the different ways to make money (to buy stuff) is intriguing, and getting into gang/police wars are extremely fun (lol I suck at making reviews)

    Why you should buy it: If you're looking for a single player that will last you a long time and is worth your money, I say you get Saints Row 1. It's very affordable and it's almost like Saints Row 2 (except Saints Row 2 has a few additions that make it a better game).

    Overall, i'd give Saints Row 1 8/10 for entertaining me as I'm relaxing during my Finals week, and I'd give Saints Row 2 8.5/10 because some of the features exclusive to the sequel make the game more enjoyable.

    It's like GTA, you can go and steal cars, start a killing spree, cause terror and havoc to the city. I only played the latest version though, SR 3. Graphics are good but I got bored... it's now lying on my HD now.

    I liked Saints Row the Third way more than GTA IV really. Of course GTA IV's story is loads better because it actually has one (Instead of just an excuse to develop things), but SRtT had a loooot of things to do and fuck around with. Actually the whole game was created for the player to just mess around with everything. It's a huge sandbox really, and it's not so much like GTA in that sense.

    The graphics and character design in SR3 totally out beats SR2. However, I enjoyed the storyline in SR2. It's probably my favorite out of the three. the missions were just so..ghetto, and I loved it. SR2 missions were much more realistic than those in SR3. I have it for ps3 though, so I can't play with you. Boo :(

    Saints Row 1 Is also a great game. Its definitely outdated, but worth the money stores sell it for and it's a good time killer (and stress reliever too).

    I've played Saints Row the third and must say that it's a very nice game. It's at least three times as unreal as GTA (you have to destroy a nuclear powered aircraft-carrier in one mission) and contains a lot of different mission-types in the story.
