Ok, I think most of us have heard of and/or watched SAO / Accel World. Honestly, what do you guys think of them? I personally think SAO is better, better characters and story. Accel World was disappointing for the 2nd half, and honestly the characters were not as good. Your thoughts? And EXPLAIN WHY if you are going to say 1 is better than the other

If you do, I am just going to give you a warning. Girls are hot. You'll be jealous of main character. 2nd Half sucks.

So I guess I've only seen/read SAO and not Accel World, but Reki Kawahara was pretty much a genious with the SAO series, so Accel is likely good as well. I may try to read the light novel/watch the anime for that sometime soon.

But SAO is pretty much one of my favorite anime, so I figured I'd put in a good word for it.
Because the premise and plot is really awesome, the characters have relationships I actually care about, and the graphics are beautiful. And unlike a lot of these series that feel like they have to be strictly shounen/shoujo, there's actually a bit of both action and romance in this, which appeals to my interests, haha.

tl;dr: It's just really cool and here's hoping the whole virtual reality gaming thing gets figured out for real one day.
