Scars

So... You wanna know how I got these scars? Well... My father, was a drinker, and a fiend. And one night, he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me and says, "Why so serious?" Comes at me with the knife. "WHY SO SERIOUS?" He sticks the blade in my mouth... "Let's put a smile on that face!"

And now I'm always smiling.

 

I have this annoying one on the back of my leg after my dog (as a puppy) bit it. Ow.

 

No, I do not believe I have any scars, but do missing teeth count? If so, I once, when I was 11 years old, had to go to a surgery room for a tooth operation, I'm not sure why it was a surgery and not a dentist. Anyway, I had to remove three teeth and now they are separated from my mouth. They reside in a container with a tight yellow lid. Each time I look at that container, I receive memories of the screaming pain these teeth gave me every night - boy was it great to remove them! Now I enjoy poking straws through my missing tooth!

 

I'm not super scarred, but there's this one on my knee which I got from a mishap with a splintery fence from years ago. To cut a long story short I got a 3 inch piece of wood stuck 2 inches deep into my right knee. After having it cut out, the wound was treated with plastic stitches (or w/e they were). Unfortunately said stitches were crummy crummy crummy. Whilst most of the scratches and cuts from jumping over that fence didn't scar, there was one that was larger than the rest, and its scar is still there. As for the scar left from the wood, well... It's actually a noticeable indent in the skin now haha. You could put your finger in it rather snugly. It's not too deep, I'd say maybe a few millimeters or so? Regardless that's a scar I got sticking with me now haha

 

And here I thought this topic was going to be about mental scars. I couldn't have been more wrong. Oh well.

I was told this by my parents later in life, but when I was extremely young (one year old, I was told), I poked my eye on a wooden table with rather sharp corners, which resulted in me having to get stitches by my eye. (As far as I know my eye survived. I mean, I've still got two of them and they both work perfectly well.) The stitches are long since gone, but there's a small depression in the skin right by my eye, where the stitches were. I'm partially surprised that scar is still there after 20+ years, but it's pretty small, so it's not a large factor.

Then there's the matter of acne scars, but I don't have very many of those, if at all - and if I did, they'd be very small. Still, other than that, my body is relatively injury-free to speak of.

 

Nope, no scars for me! That's actually because my mum is overprotective and never let me do anything, lol.

..well, actually, there is one tiny scar on my forehead from when I had the chicken pox. You know how doctors said "Don't scratch them!" Well, I was (and still am) a stubborn child. The result is one teensy-tiny scar.

 

When I was in kindergarden I tripped over a grate while playing tag and scraped my left elbow and hit cut my forehead on the edge of the sidewalk where it stops to meet the grass. I went to my teacher and was forced to leave early and go to the doctors because they were afraid I had cracked my skull. Shockingly, by some miracle of life, it didn't leave a scar and my skull was completely intact but, after the hit the cut was visible for a few months.
Honestly I get hurt all the time by tripping and running into walls how do I not have any scars

 

I have an annoying scar on my right knee cap where when I was 14 years old my petal was shattered.

They had to surgically rebuild me a new one out of silicon and adhere my tendons to it. Oh yeah I got it while playing soccer. I was kicking the ball when a member of the other team went to kick the ball too and instead hit the back of my leg snapping it in two. Last thing I remember was hearing a loud crunch and my foot hitting me in the face. I don't remember much from the next month due to the medication I had to be on. But when i "came to" I was in a wheelchair and scared not knowing why.

It healed up and ever since I have had no issues with it.

 

I have Cut-Scars I did to myself, But the real scar I have is the one on the back of my arm. I was playing with electricity guess what happens next.....You guessed it I burnt Myself. It's a Very Long story, I was really curious when I was a Kid.

 

I have a lot of scars because I'm super clumsy and stupid. I have one on my elbow from falling while running, loads on my legs from picking at bugbites, a pretty prominent scar on my left hand because I accidentally stuck my hand in the escalator hand rail thing. I'm a stupid kid.

I have a scar on my left-hand middle finger from when I was young and dumb and trying to cut something lmao. That's the only one that's really noticeable, and even then it's really not. I have other smaller ones on my arms and legs from minor things that I don't remember where they came from.

 

My case is as same as Eclipse, i have a very little that can be hardly noticable on my left eye. When i was young i dont know why but someone threw stone in air and it collided with my left leaving a scar on it but now its little. I really thank god that my eye surrvived with no issue with it. Weak eyesight was not because of it but because of excessive playing games and siiting in front of computer

 

I have a fairly big scar on my knee b/c I had an accident years ago where it got cut open after I tripped and my knee fell on a rock. Had to get stitches, and it's things like that that make me worried about how I participate in physical activities.

And I still have the scar of my first heartbreak from 2014, still gets to me occasionally nowadays.

 

one scar on my right knee that I have know idea how I got it and one on my left leg below my knee that I got from chasing my cat (may he rest in peace) and accidentally getting a deep cut from a rock

 

I have a scar just below my right hip. I have a really bad habit of playing with knives... And one night I screwed up and planted the knife halfway through my leg. Pain... I learnt my lesson... I stopped hitting myself and started hitting targets!!!

 

I've got one in my stomach! I had my appendix removed 5-6 years ago and it's left a probably permanent scar. :<
