Group RP Scramble Pirates Chapter 1! Scrambling to Set Sail!

Shadow wandered to the local tavern and saw a bunch of Pokémon gathered around a single table. He didn't have any interest in figuring out what was going on and went straight towards the bar and asked for a small plate.

 

Anna blushed at the praise. "Aww, thanks a lot. We Haydens take pride in our work." She said, smiling. She then turn to the Machamp, and said, "Thanks for picking up the ores and low quality weapons. I plan on selling them so I can get more gold so I can at least pay for passage on a ship to my home. However, I have to make sure that I can support myself as well, and saving up for passage on a ship is hard, especially since this port is full of unsavory types. Mom warned me about those kind of Pokémon, and I do not want to end up like her." Shuddering at her memory of the pirates who took her from her home. "Besides, there are...rumors about me." Anna scowled, not wanting to talk about it. "Can you, um, recommend me a good ship so I can go home?"

 

She nodded to the Machamp, and quietly said, "Just not any crews who heard of the rumor about me...Those rumors got me stuck here in the first place." Scowling because of those damn rumors that got her into this mess, just because of the rumors that might be true about her lineage. "I don't want to be taken just to get money out of me. I've heard stories from my mom about a certain group of pirates that got her in trouble when she was younger, and I don't want to experience that for myself." She made fists, and her right fist was shaking, sparking up a bit.

 

Shadow slowly ate his meal and heard a big uproar behind him. He turned to see what was going on, but he couldn't see through the thick crowd so he returned to his meal.
"How much will this meal be?" Shadow asked.

 

Shadow put the 3 gold on the bar as he finished.
"I've never been interested in such things anyway," replied Shadow as he looked back towards the crowd. "Especially since I would never have as good luck as those guys, specifically that Gabite right there."

 

Rhys had been staying silent for the most part while everyone was discussing how to do share their gold, but he finally spoke up. "Hey guys, sorry to interrupt ya'll. I don't really need much right now, so if you guys want I could contribute most of the gold we still need. I was being kind of a burden before, anyways... so I can contribute 6 or 7 gold towards everything if you want..."

 

It was a few minutes after getting himself the fifteen gold that Joshua decided that he should probably get some food. While he could always photosynthesize and use leech seed if things got tough, he preferred having actual meals, and he didn't exactly have any need for anything else.
He sighed internally. While he was doing what he could to survive, Joshua didn't exactly enjoy life as a pickpocket. One, it went against some of his morals to do so, and second, he craved adventure, as unlikely as he would be to admit it out loud.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, the servine entered a tavern to get some food...
...and immediately regretted doing so after seeing what appeared to be the beginnings of a fight about to break out over a dice table.

 

Umbra was wandering down the street wondering where to go next as she heard a ruckus from the nearby tavern. "Hm?" Her ears twitched curiously as she wandered in to see what was happening.

“Samson has already payed 3 gold, which means two people would have to pay 3, and the other two would have to pay 2. Rhys, it is not necessary for you to pay that amount of gold.” Aurora said.

 

"Yeah, I know it's not necessary." Rhys says as he takes 7 gold out of his handbag that he had been carrying with him. "But still, like I said, i can't think of anything else I'd want anyways, and some of you probably want to get other stuff while we're here. So..." Hands the 7 gold to Aurora despite what she said. "There. I won't take no for an answer, heh heh... Now we should only need 3 more gold."

 

“I’ll donate to the cause.” the croc said. He then handed the emo birb three gold. “The sooner we get the boat fixed, the sooner we get to even the score with those Lugiadamn Magmar!” Bigjaw said with excitement in his voice.

Bigjaw noticed how stubs was able to count the gold he gave. “Hey, Rhys. Are you a belt I see again.” the croc asked his fellow water type. “Cause I don’t mind giving you a ride but after a while, I kinda want to move around freely.” Bigjaw stated since he wanted to crack his back.

 

Rhys takes a quick peek around, and to his surprise, his vision doesn't seem to be affected anymore. "Actually yeah, I'm able to see pretty clearly again." He says, sliding off of Bigjaw's back and barely floating off the ground. "Thank you for helping me out, friend!" He said as he looked up at the Croconaw with a smile before turning back to Aurora. "So I think that's all the gold we need, yea? Well, unless others were wanting to get stuff, I guess."

 

"Yes. That's all we need." Said Aurora, handing the gold over to the Pelipper. "I guess we could get a few extra materials, now, since you and I still have some gold left." She said, facing Piper.

 

Ohhh that’s what you meant. I thought it was for the price of the items
