Secret Bases

I used them, though I never really had anyone to mix records with. I really like customizing my base because it brought more personality to the game imo.

 

I always spent a long time visiting every available base, looking for the best one. I eventually found my favorite on the route where it's always raining (left from Lilycove). It was one of the larger bases, it was easy to access, and it had some berry planting spots right next to it! And I think I might check if that spot is still great in OR/AS, maybe I'll build my Super Secret Base there

 

I made one, was like "Hey, this is cool," and left to go do other things.

I forgot where my secret base is.

 

I did this too, except I kept making new secret bases after I forgot where the old one was.

 

Yeah, I would've done that, except I didn't really care about them after forgetting where mine was XD

 

I always kept mine in a small bush in Route120. There's a lake, a plot to plant berries and a Legendary Pokémon's cave behind you.
Not only that it's between Lilycove and Fortree.

 

I absolutely loved secret bases! Mine was filled with all the special items that you get from the sale in the Lilycove Department Store. I remember filling my entire secret base with Pokémon dolls because they looked so cool (especially my Charizard doll I'm extremely proud of).

 

I loved secret bases! I think I made mine in the desert, I don't remember. I put the water balloons in them and entertained myself by walking over them and the note mats, haha. I remember making mine to look like an office, with a leafy desk and chair with a plushie on the right side. :'^)

 

Secret bases were one of my favorite features in RSE, my only complaint being that you had a very limited number of items you could display at a time ;.;

I cleaned out my Pokewallet during the department store sale, and got all the awesome stuff <3 Collecting hard-to-get secret base items was one of my favorite things. I can't wait to see the feature return in ORAS.

 

I'm with the OP on this one in that it seemed like a fun feature, but I never really got around to doing anything too much with it. I guess it was nice to make one for fun, though.

 

I loved bases so much. <333 They were my life and soul in R/S. I purchased a copy of Ruby despite Sapphire being my main version and restarted that many times just to mix records with my primary game to have many bases. Then I'd play each day and battle the trainers in hopes of more experience.. also loved seeing what trainer NPC each file would end up as. It's such a fond memory.

 

I loved making Secret Bases, buying new decorations and making a fun little house in it, that or making a maze. I especially loved using the Note Tiles as I could make a song with them, which I heard you could make the Pokémon Theme Song with them.
