    I'll end up deleting stuff out of this as I improve and get embarrassed about stuff I used to think of as good... xD

    I was actually going to start off by posting a third picture, but I accidentally made it massive... I'll keep posting as I draw more I guess. xD

    On the Pachirisu... The white that remains around it didn't show up on the program I use and it didn't show up on deviantART either... Oops. xD

    I totally agree! Great job! Especially liking the atmosphere on buizel and how adorable and less round-ish pachirisu looks!

    I use GIMP, but I'll probably get Photoshop sometime over the summer.

    GIMP is a completely free program. Of course you should scan it through some sort of internet security program first, but I've never had a problem with it.

    The umbreon one looks really awesome! The background's superb!

    I'd honestly suggest SAI over PhotoShop. Or Krita maybe. But that's just personal preference. To me Paint is x100 better than PhotoShop so yeah.

    I hate MS Paint... It's too simple for me... xD

    I've been thinking of trying out Paint Tool Sai, but because GIMP is a Photoshop rip-off I've been using for years now I think I'd rather get the real-deal of that before I go after different programs for now.

    Wow wow wooooow there don't hate MS paint! It may appear simple but the thing is beast. So boss, really.
    JK I'm just too attached to the thing, haha. It's ok to not like it and all, we all have opinions. Can agree that it's simple yet then again if you know techniques it evolves from simple to extremely efficient.

    To be honest if you wish to focus more on art then SAI would be the thing. There is no program out there that can compete with SAI in terms of lineart. Photoshop is more for edits, and whilst the range of various brushes and effects are neat, it's extremely uncomfortable to use. I tend to use it sometimes for textures/ transparency/ animation, and augh, it's a pain.
    There's Fire Alpaca as well. It's a hybrid of SAI and PhotoShop. Never tried it myself though, but I've heard quite the good feedback. It's entirely freeware just like GIMP.

    Eh... I don't know... I might get SAI. There is a dependent thing though...
    Does SAI do that thing where it "corrects" your lines for you? It's horribly annoying when programs do that, and I just hate it. All it really does is screw me up...

    I might go for it then. I looked online and the price is a lot cheaper too... Maybe I'll be able to talk my dad into both...? xD
