Shinies

This little girl showed up after a pretty long hunt, I'm so happy I found it!



This happened randomly a few days ago whilst EV training:

 

Ughhhhh 610 eggs and still nothing. ;-;

So far in Y, in order, I've caught a Spritzee by chaining, a Floatzel in the Safari, an Ampharos by horde hunting, then a Dedenne in the Safari, and a Mawile in the Safari that I traded to get a shiny Arcanine.

Plus, a shiny Slowking with only 12 eggs. I've never had this much luck before in any game, so perhaps the rates have increased after all?

 

I caught a shiny Alomomola while I was hunting for Corsola. Sorry I don't have any pics, I would provide one if I didn't trade it to my friend for her birthday.

 

Today I found myself the shiny which I was hunting for for quite a while now: Breloom. It also has exactly what I wanted, Adamant nature and Poison Heal. It appears to have perfect attack IVs as well (it's from Friend Safari so it definitely has at least two) so that's a plus. I'm very happy about this.

 

I will trade a shiny Zorua for a female Shiny Espurr. I want one so bad!

I captured a shiny liepard, a shiny flabébe, and shiny sprinkle but I traded them away now I currently only have a
Shiny clauncher

 

I've got two shinies in X so far:

Poliwag (named "Pixie"), who I found in a horde encounter in Pokémon Village. I don't know if I will evolve her.
Onix (named "Goldrush"), who I found while Rock Smashing in Cyllage City. I will evolve him into Steelix (hint: Steelix is one of my favourite shinies!)

 

After 430 REs, I got a shiny Fletchinder in the Friend Safari!



He looks so awesome hnghhhhhh.

 

Just as I took a break from hatching Feebas for a shiny, I ran into a shiny... Plusle -_- I have never been so disappointed

 

I am a guy who has never caught a shiny in all of his game, besides X. I have 3 shinies. One Clauncer named Torren, maxed friendship and Ev training; Shiny Remoraid, named Stream, Max friendship, Ev Training.
Currently i am chaining for a shiny Barboach or Powilwhril. I screamed like a little girl when I found Torren.

 

OH MY GOD I FINALLY FOUND IT

I have been searching for this shiny for ages- I've been looking in the Friend Safari, I've tried chaining and breeding, and nothing has come up. Then, after I beat my Y Nuzlocke I decided to go in the safari and look around, and this beautiful shiny Riolu was my 3rd encounter!

Plus he's Hasty and has 3 perfect IVs in both defenses and speed, with really good Attack as well. I could not be happier with him, he's so amazing.

 

LUCKY! I really want it! Are you just running around in the safari or are you using the radar?

 

I found the Riolu in the Friend Safari in Y. I tried using the radar but it didn't work out. I also tried running around in the safari previously in X with no luck, so this guy was pure chance.

 

Haha, really lucky. I was chain fishing all day, didn't get one.

 

I'm not sure if it increased for sure or not, but I think so. About a week ago I was at my Aunt's and I was playing Pokémon Y trying to get a Zoroark to try and breed for a shiny Zorua, but instead I got a shiny Amoongus. The next day I tried again to find a Zoroark and I found a shiny Gothorita. I traded the Amoongus for a shiny Octillery and the Gothorita for a cute shiny Plusle. Basically, the chances of finding 2 shiny Pokémon in two days makes me think it got increased.

 

Yeah, it has been confirmed that it's increased, down by about half from the old shiny wild encounter rate of 1/8192.
