Shiny Hunting, Have You Had Any Luck?

I haven't found any shinies yet, but mostly because I haven't been hunting for them either. I still need to finish the main playthrough and get the shiny charm.

I heard Surf Pikachu can be shiny, so I might soft reset for that mon first.

 

I've found a shiny Phantump during my regular playthrough, I watched the XY episode with Shiny Phantump on that same day, what are the chances, seriously.

I still need to move my living dex from Bank to complete USUM's dex and get the shiny charm.

I don't generally hunt for shinies, but I'd sure like a shiny Nihilego and Xurkitree, I might reset a few times whenever I decide to go look for them.

 

I have found... three! All through Wormholes! A Quagsire, a Floatzel, and an Abomasnow! I ahve the Shiny Charm as well, and I am currently trying to get a turquoise life deer. >_>

Was just trying to soft reset for a modest one but it came out like that on the fifth try. Really cute one too, one of the best shinies hands down and I love it!

hilariously enough, yesterday i got a shiny swanna from the ultra wormholes and the day before i caught a shiny altaria!!

I found a Shiny Xerneas in the wormholes for three glorious seconds. And then I soft resetted it by accident TT Stab me in the pancreas please.

 

I REFOUND THE SHINY XERNEAS AGAIN. IT'S ALL MINE. ALL MIIIINE TuT

 

Mine was shiny swanna from a ultra wormhole it only took about 6 times till shiny swanna

 

Before I got the shiny charm I actually got a shiny Macargo while looking for a zapdos. Now that I have the shiny charm I look forward to getting even more! Really looking for that Shiny Drapion!

 

The only shines I have in Ultra Moon are the ones I transferred over. Gardevoir, Absol, Zorua, Rowelet x 2, Cutiefly, and SIlvally.

all of my shinies have been wormhole so it was weird to see one that was a random encounter :>

 

I haven't found anything yet, but I am going to continue my UMoon today in the hopes of getting that shiny charm soon and then just go through the game again. I want that shiny Poipole.

 

Been Shiny Hunting hardcore for a week or so! Here are the new results of my labor:

• Mewtwo: This guy was stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. Didn't appear till around 2000. I kinda Master Balled him XD
• Blacephalons: YES, PLURAL. I caught the first one at SR 305, thought I wouldn't really try for the second, and then at SR 307, BOOM!
• Nihilego: So far, the golden space squid has been the easiest hunt ever, at a mere 120 SRs. Golidlocks is a cutie, but also a monster in battle.
• Ho-oh: Almost as bad as Mewtwo, at around 1800 I wanna say. I forgot the Luxury Balls for it, so I went with Premier >_>

On the side I'm trying to Masuda a competitive Pawniard, but 400 eggs in and no luck yet. I do have a ton of 5IV hatches though

Currently going for a shiny Guzzord. Wish me luck!

 

Got a Nuzleaf in the wormhole. Now trying for Soft Resetted Regirock. Wish me luck on getting "Thing."

edit: i gave up because i dont have the patience for soft reset shiny hunting but hey later i got a shiny crustle

I have gotten I believe 5 wormhole shinys so far including the heliolisk I used as my final team member

 

In Ultra Sun I got several shines, but only regular Pokémon - Altaria, 2x Floatzel, Barbalralbacle (I don't like this thing) and maybe 2 more that I can't remember at the moment. Didn't bother shiny hunting legendaries because I didn't had the Shiny Charm.

Now I'm playing Ultra Moon and in my second try I found a shiny Altaria again. Right after that I warped to a Entei, been soft reseting for 3~4 days and still no luck.
In the meantime my wife caught shiny Latios, Ho-oh, Reshiram and Kartana (with only 3 soft resets). :wooper:

I'm reeally wanting to give up and start looking for other shines.

The Shiny Guzzlord is now mine! I have named the big guy Pumpkin! Still no luck on Masudaing the Pawniards though, so I took a break and found Terrakion's wormhole! Next Shiny Legendary, here we go!
