Shiny Hunting Phase 2: Water we gonna do about this?

    Ahoy there crew!

    Hrae's next Shiny Hunting Challenge is out! We're in our element now, because guess what? We get to go hunt Water Types! And even better? Each team member is allowed to catch up to two of the same Shinies! (For example, we could ALL catch up to two Shiny Quagsires Wippors, two Shiny Magikarps, and two Shiny Psyducks!)

    So, once again, we should definitely get our Wormhole crew going again! With 4 potential Shiny Water Types to find in Blue Wormholes (RIP Stunfisk), and one Water Type to find in Red Wormholes, anyone with USUM can easily net a Shiny Water Type for us!

    Another way to get easy Water Shinies is to Chain Fish in ORAS! Comment below if you'd like to sign up for that as well!

    And as always, there are also sign ups for any other methods for shiny hunting ;)

    I'll keep a list in this post of who is going for what! We also have a nifty spreadsheet on Google Drive now for quick reference of our Shiny Hunt standings! Go check it out if you haven't already!

    I’ve actually been trying to hunt for a shiny marill while the first week was still up. This is perfect! I’ll hunt for Marill using the Dex chain in OR/AS.

    I think there is a capture date display for HG and SS since those games are remakes of gen 2

    Yeah they have, RWBY_Lover said Gen 2 however which does not have a capture date displayed. HGSS are Gen 4 even if they're Gen 2 remakes so yes they have the date. If people want to go through half a game just to get the shiny Gyarados they can, twice if they want to is not gonna be a fast way to get a shiny tho.

    Caught a Shiny Floatzel in the Blue Wormholes! I'll probably go for another one now cuz we can catch doubles ;)

    @LunarRabbitPikachu You can still submit them, Ozone have misunderstood the rules it seems. The rules states "Each team member are allowed to submit up to 2 of the same species". Each team member, meaning all of you can submit up to 2 of the same species each.

    I really don't know how to make it clearer since the first three words in the rule is "each team member" and the other half was suppose to be the example. A question about this was answered in the hunt topic too so don't know what else to add because I've asked others for help in case of wording and they understand it.

    I'll have to think because I don't want to word it to the point where people feel like they're being talked down to.
