Shiny Pokemon which are better than the originals?

Metagross, for starters. Can't go wrong there.

Also, most dragons. Making them black with a few red details makes them far more kickass than before.

I'd also like to say Gyarados. In X and Y you really get to see the colour shine on a fully rendered dragon, and it looks far better than any sprite that came before it. The blue version also looks good but the glossy red just looks so much better.

 

I must agree with Tate on the Metagross. I have one from 4th gen and I am amazed at how beautiful the shiny form is in 3D 6th gen. I'd say another shiny that is pretty cool, and better colors than the original, is Aegislash. Just the colors of it, it's baffling in amazement

 

Spiritomb and Giratina. Both look really badass and I'd love to use either one.

 

I always found shiny Chandelure amazing, with its special form having normally colored flames. Other than that, probably Ninetales, silver awesomeness. (Although I probably forget a lot because I don't know their shiny forms)

Shiny Metagross just doesn't appeal to me all that much anymore... It's the same as with all other overhyped Pokémon, like everybody keeps saying it's the best, everybody wants one, it just lost its specialness to me...

 

Rayquaza and the Roggenrola line. Those two are the ones I can think of op the top of my head. Rayquaza, already an almighty green flying fire breathing Pokémon looks totally badass in black. Like most cars actually. Roggenrola, Boldore and Gigalith look really cool with turquoise-green gems rather than dull red ones. There are many others but I'll just stick to these two.

 

Definitely Charizard. It's the only shiny Pokémon I actually want lol. The colors are different, noticeable and awesome

 

The ones that I think are better than the originals are the ones that just about everyone seems to think are better than the originals. Charizard, Haxorus, Metagross, and probably Ninetales too.

 

chesnaught! i feel like shiny chesnaught should be what it normally looks like.

 

I like Charizard, Chandelure, and Ninetials when they are shiny. I have all of them shiny and will never trade no matter the offer.

 

Sandslash, the normal pallete body with the red quills just are amazing. It makes it look more natural, it looks like something that would live in the Desert. I love shiny Sandslash. Therfore, i truly believe it is a better shiny than it's normal form.

 

Pokémon I think are cooler as a shiny:

Chandelure, Bisharp, Vaporeon, and Wailord. U_U

I just think they're fun colored and actually look pretty good XD

 

Gigalith, altaria, and relicanth are pretty impressive shinies

 

Regirock. I think his shiny looks pretty cool and it seems like he's meant to be that way.

 

Vanillite and Ponyta.
Shiny Vanillite looks like a strawberry or grape flavoured ice cream instead of the usual vanilla-white which is cute Ponyta's blue flames look gorgeous! Too bad it turns silver when it evolves, I kinda wish they didn't change the colours...
Shiny Furfrou and Dragalge look pretty awesome too.

 

Wasn't shiny Rapidash' flame color supposed to resemble smoke? Personally, I prefer the blue flames more as well, but the smoke flames are awesome too

 

WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH SILVER FLAMES PEOPLE. I LIKE THE SILVER FLAMES. At least they don't turn piss yellow or snot green like half the other shinies in existance. :/

Charizard, Metagross, Dratini/Dragonair, (NOT Dragonite ew) Greninja, Fennekin, Umbreon aaaaaaaand a few others that aren't coming to my mind right now.

Also shiny Celebi..Shini Dratini and Dragonair as well, you can't go wrong there. ;D

 

I really like Shiny Fraxure, Gigalith, Fearow, Scrafty (even though it's still cool regular <3), and I can go on~
