Shiny Pokemon

Across all the Pokémon Generations I've managed to get a few shinies here and there... maybe around 50 total? Most of them were found in the wild, while my more favored ones were hatched because I could control their attributes somewhat through breeding. (My beautiful 5IV Shiny Honedge for example) Some of my other favorite shinies I have are Shiny Milotic, Vaporeon, Reuniclus, Cresselia, Latios, Gardevoir, and Rayquaza.

 

I have caught several shiny Pokémon, one of them is a Wurmple when I spotted it in Pokémon Emerald, which is now a Dustox. The other one is a shiny Plusle (with Hidden ability and 3IVs, no less!) in Alpha Sapphire thanks to the alert of DexNav when I was focusing on leveling up my Kyogre.

 

I have a few that i caught luckily and chained myself but most of them are illegal haha

 

I've been Shiny hunting ever since I first found and caught a Shiny Zigzagoon in Ruby, and now I have 154 completely legitimate Shinies to show for it. This isn't counting Shinies from Nintendo events (Pichu, legendary gerbils, etc.), nor the Red Gyarados from Johto. I do have a Shiny Gyarados in my collection, but I bred it myself. That said, I do count the Nature Preserve Haxorus and Benga's Gible. Unlike the Red Gyarados, those had to be earned. It's not easy completing the B2/W2 Unova Dex, nor is it easy conquering Black Tower. The Shinies I have are, in chronological order;

Just found a Shiny Whismur while EV training a Duskull! And as I type this, I just caught her in a Heal Ball!

I got a shiny pawniard, my first one mind you, while IV breeding. I got a shiny before I got a perfect IV

 

I managed to get about 20-something shinies before, but my Steelix is currently my only competitively bred one. So there's that.

 

I have 50 shiny Pokémon. Only a few of them are events. Half of them are some I found in the friend safari, and the other half are the ones I bred competitively myself. The ones I bred were not easy to get either. I had to shiny hunt every day and get my 3ds up to 4000 steps so I could use hatching power more frequently.

 

I have a good 50 shinies and most of them are competitive most i didn't catch thou, ones that are mine is a mere 9

 

Zero... oh well, hopefully I get at least one someday. XD Some of the color schemes are unappealing but there are a good amount of pretty ones too.

 

I have only around 8 shinies, only 3 or 4 of which were obtained through legitimate means

Let's see, going from memory here: Manectric and Rayquaza, both caught wild in and still living in my GBA Sapphire, Red Gyarados from SS, and the Beldum and Rayquaza from AlphaSapphire. Oh, plus an obviously-hacked Ferrothorn given to me over Wonder Trade. I get the feeling I might have one more hiding in Pearl or SS, but I don't feel like looking it up.

So that's six: two completely random in the wild, one in-game event, two wifi event, and one illegitimate wondertrade. I've still never bred one myself, but I don't have the drive to try to do that.

 

I also got a good story on my friends first shiny. We were sitting there in the gym during an assembly. He needed a heart scale for the move reminder (I had just taught him this), so he had to go find luvdisk. The very first luvdisk was a shiny. I watched it come out, and he just started shouting "IT'S A SHINY!"

 

I only have one so far. I stumbled across a shiny Solrock by chance yesterday, making it my first shiny.
