Ok so I'm getting back pay from the CRA on Friday and I can't wait to go shopping for much needed summer clothes!! Do you guys like shopping for yourself? or perhaps others? Or do you just find it exhausting?
I don’t like shopping at all, but thinking of the joy certain things will bring to my family and friends when I shop for others (and that I absolutely need the things I buy for myself), makes it way beyond worth it.
It really depends on what I’m buying. If it’s something I’m not interested in like clothes, then I find the shopping to be incredibly boring. Shopping for hobbies like video games and books is the exact opposite. You could put me in a Powell’s Book Store or retro game store and it could take hours before I decide to leave.
Depends on what I'm shopping for, and with whom. Clothes shopping with my mother is an absolute nightmare, because she dithers over things for what feels like hours, and has cringeworthy taste. Otherwise, I love shopping in all forms. I like doing the food shopping on Saturdays, window shopping on the high street - even if the prices put me off buying anything - and I probably spend at least half an hour a day browsing online. Usually I only shop for myself, because I like to buy other people things they actually want, rather than things I think they MIGHT want. Although I'm always on the lookout for things people may like nonetheless.
