Should the anime end already?

I don't think it should end, it makes Pokémon more popular, so why stop it. They have to do sometime about the repetitivity though, because it IS getting really repetitive.

 

It will never end. When a Generation die the next one will start looking it...It is a circle, it has no end. It is more easy search for peace in the World >.<. The only changes that you will see are the graphics. Ash will have like 1200 years and he will never win a League, he will never get married and he will never die, sounds cruel but our only hope is this: If Satoshi wants to see Pokémon end before dying, there we will see something different

 

I've been watching the X&Y anime from the beginning, and I've actually been enjoying it quite a bit. Not every anime has to be dead serious... The Pokémon anime is just one of those shows you can watch whenever you want xD

 

Well, my little brothers still like it and I do as well, plus I like hearing what kind of voices the new Pokémon have in the anime. XD
I think the Pokémon anime won't end until the game series ends.

 

Honestly it is time to windi t down to a legitimate ending however how long that tajes depends on wjen games come out. Here is hint they are probably almost finished with gen 7 game and have started on gen 8. I predict their will be ten genrations of Pokémon and that's when the games will end and subsequently the anime. So anime probably still has ten yrs left minnum. I just wish they would show more often old friends of Ash's aren't forgotten. At this point in time that is all I am hoping for.

 

I don't think the Pokémon anime should end, but I do think they should let Ash win a League or something, and switch to a new protagonist. Hey, it worked for Pokémon Special, o why not for the anime?

 

I feel that if the Pokémon Anime series ends is when Pokémon in general will end. The Pokémon anime is helping new generations to become interested in Pokémon like how some of us were in the past. So with that said I can't see the anime series ending any time soon unless they decide to end Pokémon as a whole.

 

In my personal opinion I would love to see the series have a new spin off series. A series that is a little more serious, a series that is generated towards the older teenager crowd +, and also keep a children's version running. (Or use the current series as just the children's series.)

If Naruto could grow up with his audiences, why couldn't Ash and the rest of the gang?

So to answer your question, no I do not believe it should end, but I do wish it would introduce a little something more to the series to pull a crowd back into watching it.

I think they should end Ash's journey. I would rather another sort of series be created sort of like the Yugioh series with 5d's and such. Ash has had his fair share of screen time and the show is rather stale for my taste.

 

If you ask me, they shouldn't end it but change it. If they made it about the actual characters in the games (red etc.) and changed who was the protagonist for each region I'd definitely be more interested.

 

IMO, they should either end it or overhaul it. The show is getting very stale and the developers' thing for resetting Pikachu's capabilities is at minimum pissing me off. A side series showing what would happen if the timelines diverged after a specific point (say, Ash joining the Battle Frontier) would also be appreciated.

 

The Pokémon anime with Ash should come to an end soon. He already has a possible girlfriend, he looks older, and his team is phenomenal. His growth is going to come to an end and I'm pretty sure that Ash's era is over. I wish.

The anime is going to keep Ash no matter what until something comes up.

 

I agree with those suggesting an overhaul. I've grown exhausted of seeing Ash in every generation and would give up an arm and leg (not literally of course heh) for there to be a new protagonist each generation, à la the manga. That way my interest in it would liven up to great heights.. but Ash is way too iconic to let go of at this point. One can dream though, right?

 

Ah well, isn't it what fanfiction is for? Fixing the problems with a series in a careful manner that also gives the reader an excellent story? I can't say for sure, but that's how I see it.
