    Showdowns of Valor Team Suggestions
For those of you wondering what Showdowns of Valor is, I'm about to tell you.

Showdowns of Valor is a new series I'm starting in association with Lake Valor on my YouTube channel. Once a week, I will take a competitive team that you guys suggest here, and use it on Pokémon Showdown. I will be accepting teams of any tier (OU, Ubers, etc.), so any team is eligible for this series. The way I will be choosing teams is that I will pick the Top 4 teams I think are the most unique or interesting, and then every Saturday, you guys will vote as to which one will be used in the video.

    Rules for Suggesting Teams
    1. You must specify what tier your team is for.
    2. You must provide a Specific Ability, Nature, EV Spread, and Moveset for each Pokémon on your team, as well as provide a brief synopsis as to each Pokémon's role on your team.
    3. You may only suggest one team each week.
    4. You cannot suggest the same team as someone else, or a team that has already been used.
    5. If you suggest a team for any week, you are required to vote when it is time to do so. This is to prevent me from picking 4 teams and having no one provide input as to which one I should use.
    6. You may not vote for your own team.

Have fun, and try to be creative with your teams!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys will come up with!

Episode one of Showdowns of Valor is coming out today, featuring a team that @[member="Xarn"] helped me make a while back. Feel free to continue to suggest teams for Week 2! So far @[member="Bionic Puppy"] is the only one to suggest a team for Week 2, and I'm sure you guys have a lot of cool teams out there, so send them in!

Edit; I need at least 3 more teams to choose from for Week 2! Come on people, I'm sure you've got some really creative and powerful teams out there!

Mod Edit; Please do not double post.

    - Spore

    Greninja a shit (Chansey) (F) @ Eviolite

    - Toxic
    - Seismic Toss

watch your step (Skarmory) @ Rocky Helmet
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
    Bold Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Stealth Rock

    - Roost
    - Whirlwind

Ty tpp 4 viability (Zapdos) @ Leftovers

    Bold Nature
    - Roost
    - Defog
    - Thunderbolt
    - Heat Wave

Nonstandard OU stall with CM + Rain Dance Manaphy as a win condition. Skarmory + Chansey is a classic core, no need to explain, as everyone knows what it does. Amoonguss counters Keldeo, which is a rather huge threat to the team. Sableye-Mega is a really amazing Pokémon that handles all sorts of stuff, & Metal Burst is a really cool move. Zapdos helps beat Talonflame & provides needed Defog support. Finally, CM + Rain Dance Manaphy 6 - 0's teams with the combination of Calm Mind + Rest + Hydration & has solid neutral coverage with Scald.

OU. This team has a whole lot of common weaknesses, but is centered around a theme of evil. Zoroark serves as a great lead when imitating gengar, and helps cripple wall Pokémon with trick. Low kick is primarily to deal with t-tar and heatran. Knock off hits extremely hard the first hit, and u-turn helps keep the chaos up. Umbreon/Dusclops core is great for stalling and healing around mid game, umbreon serving primarily as the cleric and dusclops trying to trap anything with infestation and burn it. Nidoking is the hard hitter that sweeps any Pokémon which isn't faster than it. Noivern and gengar are the clean up crew, gengar having db in case a safe switch in isn't possible, and you know gengar will die that turn.

A tip for you NBay, when you are using Knell (Noivern), spamming boomburst, even against a heatran, can lead to massive damage, as most people don't use metronome as an item, so they won't expect boomburst to hit harder each turn, especially on the 5th hit when it is 2x as hard, but usually noivern wont be staying in longer than 3 turns. Not many people know that it can run flamethrower also, so try to keep is secret until there is a good opening (i.e. no heatran on a team and hitting a ferrothorn/scizor). I only mention this because most of my sets are pretty unorthodox, but noiverns and dusclops is the hardest to use.

I still need at least one more team to choose from. Come send them in guys!

Edit; Voting for Week 2 has officially begun! I decided to start the voting early this week due to having a lot of work to do on Saturday. Since I only had 3 suggestions for this Week, I decided to use one of my own teams as the 4th option. Anyone who submitted a team for Week 2 is required to vote. These people are: @[member="Bionic Puppy"], @[member="Nature Lady"], and @[member="NativeBlasion"]. Please remember that you may not vote for your own team. Voting ends Saturday at 10:00 PM CST. Good luck to all of you, and even if you aren't required to vote, I would still appreciate it if you did. The more input the better!

Edit 2; You all voted, and the team for Week 2 will be @[member="Nature Lady"]'s OU Mega Sableye Stall Team! The video will be recorded and released tomorrow. I will begin accepting submissions for Week 3 after the video is out.

Edit 3; Episode 2 of Showdowns of Valor is out now, using @[member="Nature Lady"]'s Mega Sableye Stall Team. You can watch that here. I'm now accepting submissions for Week 3, so come send them in!

    Mod Edit; Merged Posts.

Please remember to say what tier your teams are for. I know that they are both OU given the fact that one team is using Pokémon like Lando-T and Heatran, and the other is using Charizard Y, but please remember to specify what tiers your teams are for in the future. :)

UPDATE 2/19/2015: I still need at least 2 more teams. Come send them in guys!

UPDATE 2/20/2015: Voting for Week 3 has officially begun! I only had 2 teams suggested this week, so I threw in some teams of my own. The following members suggested teams and are required to vote: @[member="Martsian"], @[member="shinygiratinaz"].

UPDATE 2/21/2015: Voting for Week 3 had ended. The winner was @[member="Martsian"]'s Mega Heracross Team! Submissions for Week 4 will be accepted once this week's video is up.

Please read the rules before posting. You need to suggest a TEAM, not just one Pokémon. Please either edit your post to include a full competitive team, or I will have to ask a staff member to delete your post. Thank you. :)

Voting for Week 4 has officially begun! We only had 3 suggestions this week, so I have once again added one of my own teams as filler. The following members suggested teams for Week 4 and are REQUIRED to vote: @[member="Spammernoob"], @[member="Ferrospike"], and @[member="Martsian"].

UPDATE 3/1/15: You all voted and the winner is once again @[member="Martsian"] with his Mega Charizard Y Team! The video will be recorded and should be up by the end of the day. I will begin accepting submissions for Week 5 shortly afterwards.

UPDATE 3/1/15: Week 4's video is out uploaded! You can watch it here: http://bit.ly/SOVEP4. I will now be accepting submissions for Week 5!

I know little to nothing still about competitive play, though I'm steadily improving bit by bit. I don't think this could be called a good enough team to use, but you said you were desperate XD. I did have fun when I created this all "dog" team. You can edit things as you see fit since you'd know better than me. I don't know what tier this would be, sorry. I used it under custom the time I tested it. Again, you'd probably know more lol. Anyway:

    - Tailwind
    - Scald
    - Protect
