Ice skating, roller skating, inline skating, whatever! Can you do any of those? Are you a professional at that? Thinking to learn any in future? Ever participated in any competitions or anything? And of course, while you were/are learning that, did you have a lot of accidents?
I am definitely not a professional. I've only gone ice skating about a dozen times, but I am able to move around at a speed that is faster than a little crawl, and I don't feel like I'm going to fall every five seconds, so I consider that a win. I also do roller blading occasionally, though it's been awhile. I really doubt I'll be at the level beyond 'it's a hobby and I'm good enough to not fall', but you never know.
i love roller skating, but i tend not to take any risks while doing it so i don't have many accidents. i hate bodily harm. water is wet i guess lmao, but i just like going around the track in circles. same goes for ice skating, which i take even less risks with because it's so cold
There are many things in life that I'm not good at, and skating is first in line. For some reason, I've never been good at it. No matter how much people teach me, no matter how many tips I receive, no matter how often I do it, I simply cannot grasp it. I can see the fun in it, but it certainly is not my thing, especially ice skating.
I tried it last year because my crush at the time did it, and I was awful. Balance wasn’t an issue for long, but I had zero control on where I went. It just wasn’t safe. I might give it another try if I had someone to teach me.
I can roller skate, but that's about it. Couldn't ever find roller blades in my shoe size, and I only ever went ice skating once so balance was impossible. I can go really fast on skates, though.
I went to ice skate three times and by then, I was able to skate faster than I could walk without any risk of falling. I am no professional and I do not seek to do it any time in the near future. I used to do roller skates when I was really young, but I can't even remember how it went its been so long.
Funny you should say that I actually went Ice Skating this Sunday. I like Ice Skating a lot even though my form is terrible and I get terrible cramps and blisters afterwards. I'm definetly not a professional and just like to think of Ice Skating as a random rare and odd thing I like. Ive never used roller skates before and while i think its interesting im a bit more hesitant to have wheels under my feet rather than blades
I used to be pretty good on roller blades. But it's been so long and I'm probably end up looking really clumsy.
