    So Skype has decided to add this huge new fucking advertisement on the top of the chat windows. I know that not every country has seen this, and some have already had it for a while but myself and others got it today. So does any one know a way to disable it? Or if they plan on changing this mistake? Please let me know!

    Oh I have the same annoying advertisement on my Skype. I heard that theres an option when you are installing Skype that you can check a box to not receive advertisements but I'm not sure though I never tried it.

    I turned them off but it didn't remove it. Skype is a free service to that's why they don't let you remove them but this is too much.

    Ugh I know its really annoying. I like keeping my Skype window small but I can;t do that now or else I can only see two messages at once.

    My way around Skype's general crappiness is to use an older version. I'm using version 4.2. Try doing that?

    Very simple, easy fix. Tested it myself and it worked. This is coming from a guy who is super paranoid about doing this kinda stuff so.
