I've owned Skyrim (for XBOX 360) since early 2012 and quit playing the game several months ago. But now, I'm back to playing the game and it is so much fun!

This might be one of the best games ever created because it feels like there are endless ways to explore Skyrim and fight enemies.

    Pros:
    -very large world of skyrim
    -realistic graphics
-lots of caves, dungeons, ancient cities to explore
    -several types of enemies
-several ways to make your character stronger
-ability to craft your own armor
    -many others

    Cons:
    -occasional lagging/freezing
    -no multiplayer

I would give this game 9.5/10, and I highly recommend this game to single player gamers.

What are your thoughts on this game? What are your best moments in playing this game? Please share them on this thread.

I played it pretty steadily after it came out, but once I stopped I didn't have a great desire to start and pick it up again. Just one of those things, I felt the same way with Oblivion, I get hooked and play it constantly, stop, and don't feel like starting any more. It was great fun, though. I found the default difficulty to be much easier than the default difficulty of Oblivion, not a bad thing in itself but once I got past level 50 I had to play with the settings just to keep it fun. Really enjoy this game, I having each hand be controlled by its own trigger and the quick-menus to select abilities was simple and fast to use. Roaming around was probably the most fun I had with the game, I remember I discovered almost everything by roaming before I even completed the main story. Adding the perks system was a fantastic idea, liked that a lot. Especially the archery ones. After seeing some of the mods available I kind of wish I had a nice gaming PC that could handle it, there's some cool stuff out there, but I can't really justify that cost to myself. I dislike using a keyboard and mouse to play games anyhow.

Something fun: cast Fireball on the skeleton of a dragon, and watch it go. It gets blasted away at high speeds and a good distance, I pushed one more than halfway across the map once. Simple pleasure, simple pleasures.

You're shooting yourself in the foot if you don't get it for PC, the mods you can get are incredible. (I have it for PC with mods, so I can vouch!)

I'm fairly certain they're also modding in multiplayer, among other things. The graphics mods are spectacular.

Skyrim is awesome, unfortunately my patience is thin so I can't enjoy 50% of the game - that is, the sights. >.< Therefore the game becomes kind of dull seeing how most missions kinda take you through a dungeon and/or makes you kill some guy and/or collect an item. Feels like even WoW have more varied quests than Skyrim at times.

Obviously, going out of your way to build a Gaming PC for one game is a bit unheard of, but if in the future you end up deciding to switch from console to PC Gamer, may I suggest getting one of these bad boys. It's basically an adapter that lets you hook up your Xbox Controller to your PC so you don't have to use a keyboard and mouse.

Also, another downside to Skyrim is that the story is kind of meh in my opinion. Let's get real though, you don't buy an Elder Scrolls game for the story.

Started a new game yesterday, time to get back into the Skyrim thing. This time it's a Bosmer female, strictly light-armor, archery and stealth focus, using only swords for occasional one-hand melee and little magic outside of some Restoration.

Nice, I restarted my character several months back (its level is in mid-20's) and I chose a male Bosmer who focuses mainly on archery, stealth, enchanting, armory (using heavy armor to get light dragon armor), one handed weapons, alchemy, and occasionally restoration.

I think archery is one of the most enjoyable ways to fight and kill enemies in Skyrim, especially with the killcam feature.

I've been liking it. I'm not very far, only around level 11 but it's been a good time so far. I only used archery on my old main character very late in the game when the main skills for the ball-busting Nord with a mace were maxed out. It's cool to start off that way for a change.

I got this game for Christmas and only recently started playing, but it's beyond addicting. I'm level 96/97 and just finishing up the few remaining major quests. My character's an Argonian with a stealth build, but I do a lot of dual wielding when I'm not stealth assassinating. I did take advantage of the alchemy loop glitch for that insane sneak & lockpicking bonus, as well as carrying capacity, but I did most of my playthrough without major exploits.

Despite all the glitches and bugs I still like playing Skyrim and I have multiple characters. I play it on the PS3 so I sadly can't enjoy all the awesome mods exist.
