Usually on weekdays, I get about seven-ish hours because I have to get to school. I guess that's decent enough for me. But on weekends, it varies. Either from 7 all the way to 10. Weekends are awesome because of that reason Funny thing is, one I'm awake I find it super hard to go back to bed until late at night. Anyone else feel me?
I usually go to sleep from eleven to twelve, and wake up at seven to seven-thirty on weekdays. So, I get around eight to seven hours of sleep. I get around nine on weekends when I wake up around eight. Good thing I'm a morning person~ @[member="SkittleBox"] I definitely feel you on that one~
I usually decide to sleep at 120 to 01:10 on school nights, and wake up at around 8 am. So I usually border on 7 hours, although the past few weeks there's been quite a few nights where I get far less for a variety of reasons. (Mostly working, but there were a few other cases like one instance of sleep paralysis preventing me from sleeping for quite some time.) I'll usually try for seven hours regardless of when I have to wake up, so if I have to be awake by 11 am I'll try and sleep for 4 am. On nights where I don't have anything to wake up for (or at least think I have anything to wake up for B/), which is most weekend/holiday nights, I nowadays tend to sleep between 04:40 - 06:10, although for a good while I tended to sleep by 7 am. Latest I've slept was 9 am one time, and latest I've woken up was around 190. (I had looked out my window upon waking up several times before and thought it was early morning due to the darkness. I think I might've been mistaken.)
My sleep has tended to average roughly 7.5 hours per night. This slightly increases during the colder months, and slightly decreases during the warmer ones - in part because I will feel more (or less) cozy underneath my sheets, and thus feel less (or more) inclined to get up. It's a weakness, I know. I'm trying to narrow my sleep down to 7 hours on average, though that's easier said than done. As for times when I go to sleep and wake up, they tend to be oddly robust. It seems that, no matter when I go to sleep, I will always wake up at the exact same time, give or take a few minutes. It doesn't matter if it's later than my usual fare or earlier, unless it's at least 2 hours different, or I'm deliberately going to sleep early to wake up early the following day to be somewhere at a specific time. Like dropping someone off at the airport. Other than that, my sleep schedule is pretty rigid, and I thank my Circadian rhythm for refusing to accept shoddy performance. (At times, if I stay up late, intentionally or otherwise, my body will actually shut down and I won't be able to operate well at all, forcing me to sleep. It's a regulatory mechanism.)
I'm really, really bad at getting a decent amount of sleep during the week, since I have to wake up by 7 at the most to get ready for school, and since I never fall asleep well, I usually get 6-5 hours of sleep. And then on the weekends I get like, 12.
I don't like to be alone with my thoughts for so long, when I sleep I look to get 3-5 hours though I have been getting 6-7 recently which isn't feeling too great
I try to get a good 8 hours, but then youtube takes hold and I only get around 6. It sounds nice, but I cannot function without a good deal of sleep.
Sleep is beautiful. I usually get around 7 on weekedays, and anywhere between 9 and 11 on weekends! yes i sleep a lot
I'm a light and poor sleeper at best, but in the summer when it's frequently 30c or more at night and there's things like large centipedes, cockroaches and posionous spiders in the bed, I just find myself fidgeting and rolling over a lot and don't sleep more than an hour or two on average. It's so uncomfortable XD
I know what this is like. At times my mind will be racing through a lot of different thoughts, and I won't be able to sit still for long due to wanting to focus on something (which I can't if I'm trying to sleep) - or I might be dwelling on something particularly unpleasant. When that happens, I go to my stereo system and turn on classical music to help me sleep. It's generally soothing, and music in general has the interesting effect of getting me to relax (if the tempo isn't too high), plus it disrupts my train of thought, which is the main reason I utilise it.
I used to listen to music but I ended up near strangling myself with my earbuds I have been afraid to do it too often anymore. Though I will fall asleep in Skype calls and the headphones usually slide off nowadays.
I try to sleep as long as I possibly can. Usually I sleep right through the night and it takes something loud and sudden to wake me up (thunder excluded for some reason, I have slept through many storms), I can sleep through a lot of things. Usually when I first wake up I immediately try to go back to sleep because when I do I have better and more vivid dreams, but if I can't get back to sleep in short order my mind starts taunting me with things while I lay there so I just have to get up and find something to distract myself. Lately I have been falling asleep on my couch while watching Youtube on my TV screen and then wake up and groggily make my way to my bed. I'm pretty okay with that although the couch pillows have weird grooves and designs on them leaving weird indentations in my face.
On workdays I sleep like... 7 hours or so. It feels like less because I wake at 6AM every morning when it's still pitch black out, so I'm always tired. On weekends I wake up between 9-10AM and sleep around 12AM so I get a decent amount, but it's still soo hard to get myself up at that time. :< Since I don't sleep enough on weekdays. Always gotta force myself awake.
On school days I get, on average, 8-9 hours of sleep-- I go to bed at 9 (although then there's at least thirty minutes of reading to add) and wake up at 6. On weekends I go to bed at 12, wake up at 12. That's why weekends are fantastic-- they're the one time I feel truly awake. Nine hours of sleep and I'm ready to pass out by 10 am.
