Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U Voting

YES!!! That's Amazing!!! I am going to go vote right now!!! 8,D

 

Immediately after the Direct was over, I went and voted for Bomberman! He is a well deserving character. He's been around since 1983.

I plan on voting for others too, such as: Wolf, Slippy, Ice Climbers, Roy, King K.Rool, Dixie Kong, Knuckles, Dr. Robotnik, Rayman, Paper Mario, Demise, Ghirahim, Toad/Captain Toad, and others.

 

I need Phoenix Wright because... Phoenix Wright.

 

I voted for Professor Layton. I've already planned out his Final Smash!

After Layton absorbs the Smash Ball and uses his Final Smash, the screen fades to a cut-scene. In it, Professor Layton paces for a few seconds, before stating that "he knows who the culprit is". He will then point at the screen and yell; "AND THAT PERSON IS YOU!". The screen will then automatically return to the battle and any one of the fighters will randomly be KO'd.

His Final Smash would be great because if someone is about to get a point for KOing someone, you could just use the Smash and hopefully KO that person who is about to fall off the stage or whatever, which would make that guy's work seem meaningless!

 

As far as Ice Climbers goes, I heard they tried to include them in Smash 4, but couldn't get them to work on 3DS (and so they were scrapped on both systems). Which I think is BS because it seems Rosaluma would be even harder to get to work, but whatever. They would be my #3 vote (see below) if not for my own pessimism on the lack of effort they'd put in to make them work.

I haven't put much thought into it, but like I've seen mentioned above, Dixie and K. Rool would be awesome, as well as Knuckles and Viewtiful Joe (he should be more than just a C.Falcon recolor!). I am aching for the return of Lucas, who they said was too similar to Ness. So Dark Pit, care to weigh in on the topic? You're more of a clone than Lucas or Falco or Roy or Ganondorf ever were.

What I really really REALLY want is Megaman X and/or Zero (but Axel can jump off a cliff for all I care). X has just as much possibility as Classic Rockman to be a character (he was born on a Nintendo system as well, and has just as many powers with which to make attacks in all directions), and if they want to avoid scrapping Mega's Final Smash (which includes X), then stick with just Zero. Sample for X's final smash: Seraph form from Zero1 on GBA working vaguely similar to Mr GW's Octopus. Zero's final? Make a Black Zero cop-out like Warioman with exaggerated attacks like in X5. Easy.

 

I just went and voted for Ice Climbers. I need the little trolls back now.

I do hope everyone knows Shrek is going to probably be high up on there...
I voted for King K. Rool, because both DK and villains need more Smash representation. I would have voted Waluigi if he wasn't an Assist Trophy...
Also, this pretty much guarantees Wolf, although honestly, Lucas alone has satisfied my DLC needs.

 

Having watched the Smash 4 news progress throughout its development, I was never a fan of its roster, as there were very few characters that just appealed to me as characters. Well, there's Luigi, true, but he's not quite the fellow he was in Dream Team.

Now hearing I can vote in a character, I know the chances are small, but I chose to vote in Isaac from Golden Sun. For the longest time before Smash was released, that was my make-or-break point in buying the game. I was saddened the game got Shulk instead.

Such is life, I suppose, but if Shulk being included means that Xenoblade comes to 3DS, then that means Isaac as a PC means that Golden Sun 4 might be a thing. And I so very desperately want Golden Sun 4 to be a thing.

Oh, and Isaac wasn't even an Assist Trophy in Smash 4. He just disappeared; why? It seemed a bit odd to drop him even from Assist status.

 

Looking a bit closer at the news release, it seems Mii fighters are also getting new costumes. I for one like this, since my Mii is among my best fighters and most of his costumes suck. Among these are Link's costume for swordfighters, Majora's mask as headgear, and Protoman and MegamanX for gunners.

But... but... this might mean that X can't be a voted DLC fighter! Sure, Link is a Mii costume and character now, but he's a bigger deal than X is.

 

I've used the voting system a bit too much. This was a huge move by Smash, and a fire in the fans, to pick their characters. As for my votes, they were mostly Tales of Series characters, as the rest of that fandom voted for them.

 

I voted for Dio Brando. Seriously. Why? Because honestly, I don't play Smash enough to care who gets in, and I thought it would be hilarious if by some miracle he actually got in the game. Even though it won't happen, that would be so beautiful, and I'd blush just like my avatar.

 

I'm not certain on who I'll vote for, but I am. It's looking to Sora from Kingdom Hearts because.... I don't care if I had to pay $10 worth of DLC to get it--I WANT SORA.

Sucks Amaterasu won't be votable. I guess I'd rather have an Inkling out of all the possible choices, because I'm pretty hyped for Splatoon, haha.
